Committee on Political Education. The Employer agrees to deduct an amount equal to five cents ($.05) for each hour worked from the wages of each employee who voluntarily signs an authorization card.
Committee on Political Education. Upon receipt of a voluntary written individual order from any of the employees covered by this Agreement, on forms provided by the Union, the Employer will deduct from the pay due such employee a voluntary additional contribution to the Committee on Political Education (COPE). The Employer will provide the Union with a list of employees who contribute to COPE and the amounts contributed. The total amount contributed to COPE will be transmitted to the Union in a separate check made out to SEIU COPE.
Committee on Political Education. This Authorization is signed voluntarily and not out of any fear of reprisal and on the understanding that IBEW-COPE is engaged in a joint fund-raising effort with the AFL-CIO, will use the money contributed to that effort to make political contributions and expenditures in connection with federal and state elections, and that this voluntary authorization may be revoked at any time by notifying the Company and IBEW-COPE in writing of a desire to do so. Contributions or gifts to IBEW-COPE are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
Committee on Political Education. The Employer agrees to deduct and forward to the Financial Secretary of the Local Union, upon receipt of a voluntary written authorization card, the C.O.P.E. contribution from the pay of each IBEW member. The amount to be deducted shall be the amount specified on the written authorization card. A draft to the Financial Secretary of Local Union 702 for the sum deducted shall be forwarded monthly by the Employer as directed.
Committee on Political Education. Upon receipt of a written authorization from a bargaining unit employee, AHS shall deduct from the wages due said bargaining unit employee the sum specified in the authorization and remit to the Chicago Teachers Union Political Action Committee(CTUPAC) Fund as the bargaining unit employee’s voluntary contribution to said Fund. The administration of this CTUPAC Fund check-off shall be the same as the dues and/or agency fee check off.
Committee on Political Education. Section 4.1: The Employer will honor voluntary contribution deduction authorizations from employees in the bargaining unit for contributions to SEIU Committee on Political Education (COPE). The employer, upon demand of the Union and a forty-five (45) day notice in writing to the employer, will deduct the authorized amounts from individual employees’ paychecks and promptly remit those sums to SEIU, Local 888, along with a list of employees who have had amounts deducted and amounts for each of those employees.
Committee on Political Education. Committee on Political Education (COPE} The Employer agrees to deduct and transmit to SEIU Healthcare Minnesota, COPE contributions per pay period from the wages of those employees who voluntarily authorize such contributions on the forms provided for that purpose by, SEIU Healthcare Minnesota. These transmittals shall occur for each payroll period and shall be accompanied by a list of the names of those employees for whom such deductions have been made and the amount deducted for each such employee.
Committee on Political Education. 1. The City agrees to allow unit employees to make voluntary political contributions to SEIU’s Committee on Political Education (“COPE”) through payroll deduction.
2. A unit employee interested in making such contributions shall authorize the City in writing on a form, which clearly indicates the funds will be used for political purposes and that the contribution is voluntary in nature.
3. Remittance to the Union of the aggregate amount of such deductions will be made by the City within fifteen (15) working days after the end of the month in which said deductions were effected.
Committee on Political Education. Upon receipt of a written authorization from a Bargaining Unit Member as in Appendix B, Urban Prep shall deduct from the wages due said Bargaining Unit Member the sum specified in the authorization and remit to the CTU Committee on Political Education (COPE) Fund as the Bargaining Unit Member's voluntary contribution to said Fund. The administration of this COPE Fund check-off shall be the same as the dues and/or agency fee check off.
