Computer Usage. I understand that use of CMN’s computers, networks, and Internet access is a privilege granted by the college. I agree to follow the policies set forth by CMN. I understand that violation of these policies may result in my network ID, password, and/or email address being removed from the server without notice. Anyone who accesses, uses, destroys, alters, or damages CMN information resources, properties, or facilities without authorization may be guilty of violating tribal, state, or federal law, and/or threatening the integrity of information kept within CMN’s systems. Such conduct is unethical, and will result in disciplinary action by the college, including suspension, and/or loss of computing system privileges. For further details, refer to the CMN website under Consumer Information.
Computer Usage. How proficient employee produces computer assignments using various programs that are job related to produce a quality product for intended purpose (i.e., word processing, database, reports, etc.).
Computer Usage. Applicant shall allow access to Consumer Sentinel Network information and the Consumer Sentinel Network only from computers issued and maintained by Applicant’s organization. When accessing the Consumer Sentinel Network, such computers shall be secured within Applicant’s facilities (i.e. within Applicant’s buildings). In addition, such computers shall at all times be protected from viruses, malware, and other exploits, by
i. usage of up-to-date firewall, anti-virus, and anti-spyware programs, whose software and support files (e.g. virus signatures) are automatically kept up-to- date;
ii. usage of up-to-date web browsers whose security settings are set at the highest level available for that browser; and
iii. installation of up-to-date security patches for your operating systems and browsers.
Computer Usage. Access to the Internet allows for the complete freedom of expression and view points from all elements of society. A wide variety of text and images are shared by millions of users worldwide. In its current format, the Internet is a completely uncensored source of information. It is important to discuss this with your child before attending class; - The University of Calgary has no way of restricting access to material on the Internet while attending the class. Any attempt by your child to access pornographic or other inappropriate material during class, will result in your child being expelled and the parent/guardian being contacted; - Upon completion of this course, my child's Internet account will be deleted immediately; - I understand that there are resources accessible on the Internet which are not appropriate for minors. I agree to allow my child to maintain his/her Internet account during the program unless otherwise directed in writing to the University of Calgary.
Computer Usage. The Employer provides and maintains the following forms of electronic data: voice-‐mail, internal and external e-‐mail, computer software and Internet access. These systems are intended for work-‐related purposes only. Every Employee has a responsibility to maintain and enhance the Employer’s public image, and to use all forms of electronic data in an effective, ethical business-‐related and lawful manner. In no case may any electronic data be used as solicitation for personal business purposes, religious or political causes.
Computer Usage. TransAtlantic will be billed for computer usage by the Riata Entities based on the actual cost to the Riata Entities, determined as follows:
(i) with respect to expenses directly associated with the hardware and/or software utilized in any part by both Parties (the “Common Use Equipment”), based upon the amount of disc space used by TransAtlantic compared to the total amount of disc space used by both Parties of all Common Use Equipment; and
(ii) with respect to expenses directly associated with hardware and/or software only used by TransAtlantic (the “Single Use Equipment”), the actual cost to the Riata Entities of obtaining such Single Use Equipment.
Computer Usage. The purpose of the Internet is to facilitate communications in support of research and education by providing access to unique resources and an opportunity for collaborative work. To remain eligible as a user, the use of a student’s account must be in support of and consistent with the educational objectives of King's Way Christian Schools. Access to Internet is made possible through an appropriate provider designated by King’s Way at its sole discretion. All users of the Internet must comply with existing rules and Acceptable Use Policies that have been established by King's Way Christian Schools. Any student wishing to use computers at school must sign an “Acceptable Use Contract” - a copy is at the end of this handbook. Transmission of any material in violation of any United States or state regulation is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted material, threatening or obscene material, or material protected by trademark. Use for commercial activities is generally not acceptable. Use for product advertisement or political lobbying is also prohibited. The use of the Internet is a privilege, not a right. Inappropriate use including any violation of these conditions and rules may result in cancellation of the privilege. King's Way Christian Schools under this agreement, is delegated the authority to determine appropriate use and may deny, evoke, suspend, or close any user account at any time based upon a determination of inappropriate use by an account holder or user. ATTENDANCE POLICY Student attendance is a critical component to student achievement. As such, students are expected to attend school on a regular basis. However, circumstances occasionally warrant students to miss school. If a parent decides their child should not attend school, we ask them to notify the middle school of the student’s pending absence either by phone at 000-000-0000 or by email to XxxxxxxXxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx. Technology staff will change your password on a regular basis (annually). All City electronic media is to be used for City and employment purposes only and is not to be used for personal non-job related purposes. Electronic media includes all computers, computer equipment, hardware, peripherals, medium (connection lines), cameras, televisions and telecommunications equipment of any kind, whether owned, leased, rented or used by the City. It also includes all documents, records, software, and stored and deleted files relating to City business regardless of form including but not limited to hard copy, computer stored data, disks, hard drives, tapes and any other form in which data may be stored or retained.

Computer Usage. The computers are maintained by the IT Service Group (isginf). Workstations are assigned through the reservation system. The installation of the operating system and applications is performed by the student using the computer.
