Computer Usage. I understand that use of CMN’s computers, networks, and Internet access is a privilege granted by the college. I agree to follow the policies set forth by CMN. I understand that violation of these policies may result in my network ID, password, and/or email address being removed from the server without notice. Anyone who accesses, uses, destroys, alters, or damages CMN information resources, properties, or facilities without authorization may be guilty of violating tribal, state, or federal law, and/or threatening the integrity of information kept within CMN’s systems. Such conduct is unethical, and will result in disciplinary action by the college, including suspension, and/or loss of computing system privileges. Computer Usage. Access to the Internet allows for the complete freedom of expression and view points from all elements of society. A wide variety of text and images are shared by millions of users worldwide. In its current format, the Internet is a completely uncensored source of information. It is important to discuss this with your child before attending class; - The University of Calgary has no way of restricting access to material on the Internet while attending the class. Any attempt by your child to access pornographic or other inappropriate material during class, will result in your child being expelled and the parent/guardian being contacted; - Upon completion of this course, my child's Internet account will be deleted immediately; - I understand that there are resources accessible on the Internet which are not appropriate for minors. I agree to allow my child to maintain his/her Internet account during the program unless otherwise directed in writing to the University of Calgary. Computer Usage. If you are watching TV can your roommate listen to music? If studying, can you have noise in the background (TV/Radio)? For those that share bedrooms, will you disable computer noises (IM) when you’re not in the room? Phone usage: If you select to have a land line telephone, how will messages be delivered to roommates? How will the phone be paid? Communication: How will you communicate with each other when there is a problem? It is best to be specific so that you have clear guidelines in case you need to communicate regarding a problem.
Computer Usage. In order to provide the most current information available, the Camas County Public Library will provide access to public computers from 12:30-5:00 P.M. on weekdays. This service is a privilege and not a right. We hope that the public will respect the rules so that this service can continue uninterrupted. It is the patron’s responsibility to learn the rules and obey them. A Computer/Internet Agreement must be on file before using a workstation. Any violation of the rules will result in losing library privileges. (There is to be no food or drink in the library) ⮚ Notify the librarian of any problems Camas County Public Library will not assume any responsibility for damages, direct or indirect, arising from the use of electronic services through our system, including the Internet. Please remember that how you behave at the computer could affect the entire library population. Some violations will result in just a warning while others will result in losing your computer privileges.
Computer Usage. Internet and e-mail usage shall comply with City policy. Based on the work hours of bargaining unit members, they may use the City of Las Cruces Internet services for personal improvement provided that use is consistent with professional conduct and is not used for personal financial gain. Internet relay chat channels or other Internet forums such as newsgroups or net-servers may be used only to conduct work related to business or to exchange technical or analytical information. Internet use must be able to survive public scrutiny and/or disclosure. Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and must respect the legal protection provided by copyright and licenses with respect to both programs and data. Individual users responsible for misuse of the Internet shall be subject to disciplinary action. Fire Department personnel shall be permitted to use the City’s computers during residential hours for personal use, provided that use does not interfere with Departmental business, or violate City policy.
Computer Usage. It is the policy of the Company to use computers to improve communication, to provide better access to information, to enhance the productivity of employees, and to lower the overhead cost of delivering service. The security, integrity, and accuracy of the information contained in these computers are the responsibility of every employee. An employee who accepts the privilege and advantage of computer use also accepts the responsibility associated with such privilege. Every employee is expected to demonstrate caution and care around all equipment and ensure that confidentiality of information stored on the computers is maintained at all times. Users may not make copies of software owned by the Company (except for backup purposes) and shall not install any software on the Company’s computer which has not been approved and registered by the Company. This prohibition includes loading personal software onto the Company’s computers. It is the policy of the Company to comply fully with software manufacturers licensing agreements. The Company honors all licensing, copyright, patent restrictions, and terms and conditions with commercial proprietary computer software.
Computer Usage. The City’s Computer Usage policy outlines the use of the City’s electronic mail (e-mail) system by all full-time and hourly employees, as well as elected officials, independent contractors, seasonal employees and any vendors with authorized use of the City computer resources. Technology staff will change your password on a regular basis (annually). All City electronic media is to be used for City and employment purposes only and is not to be used for personal non-job related purposes. Electronic media includes all computers, computer equipment, hardware, peripherals, medium (connection lines), cameras, televisions and telecommunications equipment of any kind, whether owned, leased, rented or used by the City. It also includes all documents, records, software, and stored and deleted files relating to City business regardless of form including but not limited to hard copy, computer stored data, disks, hard drives, tapes and any other form in which data may be stored or retained.
