CONFORMITY TO LAW CLAUSE. If any provision of this Contract of Agreement is or shall at any time be determined contrary to law by a court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision shall not be applicable or performed or endorsed except to the extent permitted by law, except that all other provisions of this Agreement shall continue in effect.
CONFORMITY TO LAW CLAUSE. This Agreement is subject in all respects to the laws of the State of Michigan with respect to the powers, rights, duties and obligations of the Board, MFSA and members of the bargaining unit. If any federal or New York law or regulation, or final decision of any federal or New York court or administrative agency affects any provision of this Agreement, each such provision will be deemed amended to the extent necessary to comply with such law, regulations, or decisions, but otherwise this Agreement will not be affected.

16.6.3 The Association pursuant to Section 207, paragraph 3, subsection (b) of the Public Employees' Fair Employment Act, reaffirms that said organization "does not assert the right to strike any government, to assist or participate in any strike, or to impose an obligation to conduct, assist or participate in such a strike."
