Criteria for Eligibility. Associate faculty applying for Senior Associate status must: 1. Meet the current minimum qualifications for a tenure-track position in the subject area; 2. Have completed two (2) satisfactory FEP cycles; and, 3. Have four (4) professional development reports on file. Senior Associate status is not available to tenured, tenure-track, RIFed, or retired academic employees.

Criteria for Eligibility. Full time and temporary full time bargaining unit members will be eligible to request donation of paid leave benefits under the following conditions: a. The employee must present the Human Resources Faculty Generalist with a physician’s written statement that the member is experiencing an illness or injury that is anticipated to require the member to be absent from work for two (2) or more calendar weeks. b. Donated days may be used for a bargaining unit member’s own personal illness or injury only. c. Donated days may be used only after the member has exhausted all of his/her accumulated personal and sick days.

The individual seeking retirement must be a full-time salaried member of the Susquehanna Community School District staff for a minimum of fifteen (15) years in the District prior to June 30th of the year retiring. b. The individual seeking retirement must be at least fifty-five (55) years of age by September 1 of the year retiring or have at least thirty (30) credited years of service with the Public School Employee’s Retirement System (PSERS) and must not be eligible for a disability pension under the Pennsylvania School Employees’ Retirement System. c. The individual seeking retirement in any school year during the term of this Agreement must submit notification to the Board by the April Board meeting preceding the employee’s retirement. d. The person must be eligible for retirement under the provisions of the Pennsylvania School Employee’s Retirement System (PSERS) and must submit notification that such retirement has been completed by the employee’s retirement date. e. The Board shall provide a retiree, at District expense, with single coverage for medical benefits as provided in this Agreement but not including vision and dental for a period of time until the retiree becomes eligible for government provided insurance. In no event shall the said payment period by the District exceed ten (10) years from the date of the retiree’s retirement. Government provided insurance shall not mean health insurance provided to a retiree that is actively employed for a government agency following retirement. In this case, the retiree who is employed by the government agency shall have the right to refuse insurance coverage and remain on the District provided insurance plan.

Certified personnel who are employed by the District having at least one full year of service in the Xxxxxx School District shall be eligible to participate in the program Service is defined as employment as a certified teacher in the Xxxxxx School System. Experience as a classified aide is not accepted as certified service. B. Certified personnel must have terminated their employment with Xxxxxx Public Schools to be reimbursed for unused sick leave. Affiliate status is not available to tenured, tenure-track or retired academic employees.
