Definition of Full-Time Employee. For all purposes under this Agreement, including benefit eligibility, “full-time employee” shall mean an employee who regularly is scheduled to work at least thirty (30) hours per week.
Definition of Full-Time Employee. A. For the purpose of this Agreement, an Employee shall work no less than five and one-half (5.5) hours per day to qualify for full-time status and related benefits.
B. No Employee will lose credit for years of full-time employment within the bargaining unit which was earned during prior Agreements between the District and the Association.
C. If an Employee terminates employment with the District and is subsequently rehired, he/she will be required to work the minimum number of hours needed to qualify for full-time status and related benefits.

Scheduled hours of work voluntarily vacated by an employee (such as trading of hours) shall not be used for purpose of advancing an employee to full-time status. An employee who fails to maintain full-time status as a result of working less than forty (40) hours per week for reasons other than absence due to an approved leave of absence, or a reduced schedule resulting from an on- the-job injury for twelve (12) consecutive weeks shall be designated as a part-time employee.

For the purpose of seniority, full-time drivers and full-time route assistants shall be defined as anyone working a regular a.m. run and a regular p.m. run five (5) days per week. A full-time employee, other than a driver or route assistant, shall be defined as a person who is willing and able to accept forty (40) hours of assigned work on a scheduled Monday through Friday work week.

Full-time school bus drivers and full-time route assistants shall be defined as anyone working a regular a.m. run and a regular p.m. run/route five (5) days per week. A full-time employee, other than a school bus driver or route assistant, shall be defined as a person who is willing and able to accept forty

Presuming the School District regularly employs a five-day work week, the term “Full-Time Employee" for the purposes of this Agreement shall mean a School District employee who works nine (9) or more months and twenty-five (25) hours or more per week. Presuming the School District regularly employs a four-day work week, the term “Full-Time Employee" for the purposes of this Agreement shall mean a School District employee who works nine (9) or more months and twenty (20) hours or more per week.

It is understood that for purposes of this provision, the definition of "absence" shall include such things as absence from work due to vacation, holiday, vacated shift, unexcused absence, funeral leave, jury duty, leave of absence and illness. For Safeway Stores 617, 637, 1131 and 1132, in addition to the above definition of "absence", the "blackout" periods of June 1 through September 15, and November 15 through January 15, shall also be retained because of the seasonal cycles of business in these stores.
Definition of Full-Time Employee. A full-time certified employee is classified as a person that works a minimum of 30 hours per week in a normal week during the school year. All other ce1iified employees will be classified as part-time certified employees.
Definition of Full-Time Employee. For the purpose of this article regarding hospitalization, long-term disability insurance and life insurance a full-time employee shall be defined as one who is employed for 40 hours per week or more for a period of 12 months per year. Effective July 1, 1993, all educational assistants participating in the health insurance plans due to “special considerations” shall be grandpersoned into the plans and can not be negatively affected by any future negotiated changes.

A regular full-time employee is described as an employee who has been hired as such or scheduled or worked forty (40) hours or more a week for four (4) consecutive weeks in his home store, except for employees hired as or advanced to a full-time schedule between June 1st and September 15th and except for Delicatessen Clerks advanced to a full- time schedule between November 15th and January 15th. If the employee who has worked the four (4) forty (40) hour weeks is not the senior employee who has expressed his desire for full-time status, as set forth in Article 28, Section 82, such employee shall remain in part-time status, and the senior qualified employee in that classification who has expressed his desire for full-time status shall be changed to full-time status.
