DELIVERY DRIVERS. A delivery driver is an employee whose principal job assignment includes the delivery of customer purchases to the customer, picking up of abandoned shopping carts in the vicinity of the store and returning same to store and the necessary maintenance of shopping carts. Delivery drivers may perform all work connected with the selection of customer purchases from the sales floor, including the storage and retrieval thereof. Delivery drivers may also be required to make incidental pick-ups and deliveries of items at the Employer’s warehouses or manufacturing facilities and of other items not listed above at the Employers discretion.
DELIVERY DRIVERS. Each regular Delivery Driver and Supervising Delivery Driver is required to wear a uniform and shall be issued the following work clothes:
DELIVERY DRIVERS. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license in the appropriate completed class. A background check must be done by the provider on all staff who interact with meal participants of County programs including drivers and driver’s assistants, whether employed directly by the provider or subcontracted. All staff interacting with meal participants must, at all times, have proper identification that is clearly visible by the participant. County reserves the right to review any personnel files of staff interacting directly with participants and the right to reject staff for Home-Delivered Meals Program.
DELIVERY DRIVERS. Warehouse team member grade 4 means a shop assistant who has been appointed by a member of the Store Management team and has been given additional responsibilities for which they are held accountable, including: • Direct supervision of other warehouse team members grades 1, 2 and 3; • Training of warehouse team members grades 1, 2 and 3; • Overseeing the area in the absence of the coordinator.
DELIVERY DRIVERS. Orange County security procedures require that each delivery driver and tanker be properly identified and authenticated prior to entry to any water supply facility. Drivers shall have in their possession the appropriate driver’s license and a valid company ID. Upon arrival, both shall be presented to authorized security forces and or County employees. Failure to do so will result in refusal of the shipment. The County reserves the right to inspect and/or search any delivery vehicle attempting to enter the premises. All delivery vehicle drivers shall be U.S. citizens and have a proper commercial driver’s license with a Hazardous Material endorsement. Contractor’s drivers shall display its driver’s license whenever requested by Orange County during the delivery. In addition, Contractor shall supply Orange County a “CD” with digital photographs of all of its delivery drivers with names imposed and shall send out an updated CD within 24 hours of any changes to its drivers. Orange County will use the CD to verify whether driver is actually an employee of the Contractor. Failure to show proper license or failure of driver to be listed on the CD provided to Orange County will result in rejection of delivery and actions leading up to possible termination of the Contract. Delivery drivers shall comply with any special instructions given upon arrival and shall maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor while visiting the facility. Failure to do so will result in removal from the facility. All delivery personnel must have company cell phones to facilitate deliveries to unmanned and manned facilities.
DELIVERY DRIVERS. This agreement covers all Dependent Contract Delivery Drivers (hereinafter referred to as “Drivers”) contracted to deliver the Kamloops This Week newspaper, complete with inserts therein. Drivers covered by this Appendix are excluded from Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35. 37, 38, 39, Appendix A, Appendix C and Letters of Understanding 1, 2, and 3.

DELIVERY DRIVERS. Consistent with the second paragraph of Article 11.15(a) of the Collective Agreement, the parties agree that where it is necessary to change the start time for Delivery Drivers, the Company agrees to advise the Delivery Driver at the end of his preceding shift, rather than three days in advance. The second paragraph of Article 11.15(a) shall otherwise apply to Delivery Drivers. FOR THE COMPANY FOR THE UNION Maple Lodge Farms Ltd. DELIVERY DRIVERS. If a driver has been laid off from his job under subsection (c), recall to a driving job will be subject to the following special rules, notwithstanding the provisions of article 8.05:
a) Drivers who, because of their seniority, were unable to displace (bump) another employee, will be recalled to driving jobs in that week, before other laid off drivers who had displaced more junior employees in other jobs on other shifts.
b) If additional drivers are needed for recall, such recall shall take place from the remaining drivers in accordance with their seniority.
c) If such recall is to a driver shift, it will be necessary for a recalled driver who is then working on a night shift to skip his next night shift so as to avoid a back-to-back shift with his first driver shift.
d) Drivers must accept the recall assignments to which their seniority entitles them.
e) While employed on the job to which he displaced, the employee will only be entitled to unscheduled, end of shift overtime in the department where he is then working. However, he shall only be entitled to scheduled overtime in the department from which he was laid off.
