DUTY-INCURRED INJURY. 16 (1) Milwaukee County shall comply with the provisions of all pertinent Workers 17 Compensation Laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The County shall 18 promulgate and distribute procedures to be followed when an employee is injured or 19 becomes ill in the line of duty. Such procedures shall be provided to the union and 20 included in the County administrative manual.

DUTY-INCURRED INJURY. All employees shall be covered by the South Dakota Codified Law, Title 62. Employees that are injured on the job must report their injuries to a supervisor or a management employee immediately upon the occurrence of an injury or as soon thereafter as practicable within three business days. A First Report of Injury or incident report will be completed by the employee and submitted to the Business Manager who will forward it to the insurance company.
DUTY-INCURRED INJURY. 29.1: All employees injured or incapacitated in the discharge of their duty shall receive such pay for injuries as provided under Michigan's Worker's Compensation Law.

DUTY-INCURRED INJURY. If an employee is injured during the course of his/her employment and losses three (3) calendar days or less because of such occupational injury or disease, the City will continue the employee’s wages for the time he/she is away from work at 100% of the regular rate for the first day and at 85% for all subsequent days. If the employee losses more than three (3) calendar days because of the above causes, the City will pay the employee’s full wages the first day and 85% of the regular rate for all subsequent days until the employee returns to work. Employees hired subsequent to January 1, 1988 shall be eligible for 100% compensation for the 1st day of injury and 85% compensation for all subsequent days of injury for a total of sixty (60) workdays following a duty-incurred injury. Thereafter, said employee shall be eligible only for Worker’s Compensation, with no further reimbursement from the City. If the employee reaches the point of maximum recovery but is unable to return to work, the employee shall receive the difference between the established wage of the injured employee and the insurance contribution until he/she qualifies for and receives a disability pension under the Wisconsin Retirement Fund. This policy shall be carried out in accordance with the following procedure: In order to qualify for the wage continuation plan set forth above, the employee shall endorse the compensation check received by him/her from the insurance carrier and turn the same over to the City. Sick leave shall not be used for purposes of this clause.

  • REPORT OF INJURY Any injury that shall occur to Concessionaire, its officers, servants, agents, employees, contractors, or invitees requiring medical intervention of which Concessionaire is notified, shall be reported to Department immediately by calling 0-000-XXXX DEP (1-877-927- 6337) and also reported in writing to the addresses set forth in Paragraph 49 within one (1) calendar day of the incident.

  • Contingent liability Where we effect or arrange a Transaction, you should note that, depending upon the nature of the Transaction, you may be liable to make further payments when the Transaction fails to be completed or upon the earlier settlement or closing out of your position. You may be required to make further variable payments by way of margin against the purchase price of the investment, instead of paying (or receiving) the whole purchase (or sale) price immediately. The movement in the market price of your investment will affect the amount of margin payment you will be required to make. You need to monitor your margin levels on a daily basis. Margin call You agree to pay us on demand such sums by way of margin as are required from time to time as we may in our discretion reasonably require for the purpose of protecting ourselves against loss or risk of loss on present, future or contemplated Transactions under this Agreement. Failure to meet margin call Please note that in the event that you fail to meet a margin call, we may immediately close out the position. Form of margin Margin must be paid in cash in currency acceptable by us, as requested from time to time by the Company. Cash Margin paid to us is held as client money in accordance with the requirements of the Client Money Rules. Margin deposits shall be made by wire transfer, credit card, e-wallet or by such other means as The Company may direct. Set-off on default If there is an Event of Default or this Agreement terminates, we shall set-off the balance of cash margin owed by us to you against your obligations (as reasonably valued by us). The net amount, if any, payable between us following such set-off, shall take into account the Liquidation Amount payable under Clause 15 (Netting). Further assurance You agree to execute such further documents and to take such further steps as we may reasonably require perfecting our security interest over and obtain legal title to the Secured Obligations. Negative pledge You undertake neither to create nor to have outstanding any security interest whatsoever over, nor to agree to assign or transfer, any of the cash margin transferred to us, except a lien routinely imposed on all securities in a clearing system in which such securities may be held. General lien In addition, and without prejudice to any rights to which we may be entitled under this Agreement or any Applicable Regulations, we shall have a general lien on all cash held by us or our Associates or our nominees on your behalf until the satisfaction of the Secured Obligations.

  • Contingent Liabilities Assume, guarantee, become liable as a surety, endorse, contingently agree to purchase, or otherwise be or become liable, directly or indirectly (including, but not limited to, by means of a maintenance agreement, an asset or stock purchase agreement, or any other agreement designed to ensure any creditor against loss), for or on account of the obligation of any person or entity, except by the endorsement of negotiable instruments for deposit or collection or similar transactions in the ordinary course of the Company’s business.

  • Illness or Injury If an employee or dependent of an employee shall, while the employee is insured, be confined in a hospital as a bed-patient for treatment and not primarily for medical investigation or diagnosis only, and if the employee shall incur expense in respect of such confinement, the Company will pay, subject to the proviso below, benefits equal to the actual charges made by the hospital for bed, board and routine nursing services as regularly provided by such hospital, but the Company will in no event make payment in respect of that part of any charge for bed, board and routine nursing services which exceeds
