Education and Awareness a) The content of this procedure and any specific workplace procedures relating to alcohol or other drugs will be communicated to workers and other persons during the induction process. It also forms part of all subcontractor contractual requirements.
b) The workplace induction shall include the following as a minimum to promote the health and wellbeing of all Workers and outline the company’s commitment to a safe and healthy workplace. The training provider shall be the BTG workplace impairment officer or other agreed provider between the union and the PC/employer. Impairment awareness training sessions will be delivered to all workers (including principal contractor workers), subcontractors and labour hire workers at least once every five years.
c) All training must be delivered face to face
d) Workplace impairment training must be a minimum of 2 hours in length and must cover the following topics: • Australian Workplace Health and Safety statistics • Overview of the workplace health and safety act – state specific • Mental health – discussing at length stress, anxiety and depression • Fatigue – overview of causes and coping mechanisms • Illness and injury – management of illness and injury, legal requirements, rehabilitation process • Chemicals, heat cold and noise and their abilities to cause impairment at work • Legal/illegal drugs and alcohol – statistics on current use, potential negative consequences to the workplace, workplace deaths and accidents associated with alcohol and other drug use • Harm relating to alcohol and other drug use • Understanding what is a standard drink and how long this will stay in your system • Detection rates for legal and illegal drugs • Administering self-alcohol and drug tests • Information about the Construction Industry Drug and Alcohol Foundation (CIDAF) and Employee Assistance Programs and the services they both offer.

Partner must provide reasonably frequent training and awareness in information security, in the protection of information resources, and in the requirements of this Agreement to its employees, agents, and contractors who access or use Yahoo Data. Such training and awareness will be mandatory for all personnel involved in performing Partner’s obligations to Yahoo and will include, but is not limited to, identifying social engineering attempts, and good security practices.

The Parties agree that the information and training regarding harassment and discrimination is essential. In July of each year, the University will provide each employee with a copy of the University Policy 6 - Harassment/Discrimination. Furthermore, the policy will be given to each new employee and made available on the university webpage. Hard copies are available at the Harassment/Discrimination Office and the Human Resources Office.

The School provides a programme that raises awareness of technical and behavioural aspects of safety for students, including topics such as advice on grooming and radicalisation, exposure to material that is not appropriate to their age, the sharing of personal information, their online footprint, cyber bullying, sexting as well as the use of social media and digital communication in general.
15.2. This is delivered throughout the curriculum generally, and specifically in PSHCE and Computing and IT periods, as well as assemblies. The programme is designed to deliver information and explore issues at a level appropriate to the age of the student, and certain topics will be revisited at appropriate points in each students’ development.
15.3. This programme also includes sessions run annually at KGS School for parents/guardians, highlighting both the material that is delivered to our students, but also to assist and educate parents, so they are better informed to support their children use technology appropriately.
15.4. This policy will be published both internally on our Intranets, as well as externally on the public KGS website. Its contents will be broadcast to both students, staff and parents at least annually to raise awareness of the responsibilities of all respective parties.
15.5. On joining the School students will be asked to acknowledge their awareness of, and agreement to abide by the related student IT code of conduct, including the use of mobile devices. Similarly, staff will be asked to acknowledge their awareness of, and agreement to abide by both this policy and the Staff Code of Conduct. Any breach of these rules will result in disciplinary action.

Education and Awareness. Mental health educational activities shall raise 2 awareness and educate the TAY and Young Adults regarding mental health issues and available services and resources. Services will focus on improving help-seeking behaviors, increase access to resources that 3 prevent the development of mental health conditions or prevent conditions from becoming worse.
Education and Awareness. Where there is evidence of a breach with a legal requirement, the council may consider an education and awareness approach instead of formal enforcement action. Examples where this might be appropriate would be when new legislation is introduced, or where there are misunderstandings in respect to the offence.

The Volunteer Coordinator, with support from the Volunteer Advocate, presents and facilitates monthly anti-human trafficking programming to all ages within the general public, judicial system, faith-based communities, youth/student clubs, high schools, colleges, and volunteer mentors working with victims. The Volunteer Coordinator, with support from the Volunteer Advocate, provides intensive anti-sex trafficking trainings each month to Florida nonprofits working in related fields. The Awareness Program will be serving at least 200 people per month in 2021-22 through anti-sex trfficking training sessions, publications, and social media awareness campaigns. The Education/Trainer of Curriculum and Core Values will provide direct services to victims of sex trafficking living in Selah Freedom's Residential Safehousing. In 2021-22, eight to twelve victims will be provided services such as academic testing, education and critical thinking classes, career planning, academic and process tesing each month. Monthly, the Education/Trainer of Curriculum will compile victim data for effective outcomes and measurements.
