EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER RELATIONS COMMITTEE. Purpose
9.01 The parties agree to establish an Employee/Employer Relations Committee (E.E.R.C.) in order to:
(i) Facilitate communications between Management and the Union at the Provincial level in an unconstrained, yet official manner during the life of the Agreement;
(ii) Preclude and resolve common problems during the life of the Agreement;
(iii) Permit both parties to enter negotiations with much of the groundwork completed.
9.02 A The Committee will be composed of equal representation not to exceed a total of ten members, five appointed by each party.
EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER RELATIONS COMMITTEE. The parties have agreed to the establishment of an Employee/Employer Relations Committee which is currently operating under terms of reference, which may be altered by the parties, from time to time, by mutual agreement.
EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER RELATIONS COMMITTEE. The parties agree to the establishment of an Employee/Employer Relations Committee. The parties further agree to meet within sixty (60) days of ratification (February 21, 2019). The terms of reference, found in Appendix 4, may be altered by the parties, from time to time, by mutual agreement.
EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER RELATIONS COMMITTEE. 10.1 The parties agree to establish an Employee-Employer Relations Committee (EERC) to administer the application of this Collective Agreement.
EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER RELATIONS COMMITTEE. Representatives of the employee's and employer's bargaining committee shall meet as necessary for the purpose of reviewing the administration of the contract.
EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER RELATIONS COMMITTEE. 7.01 An Employee/Employer Relations Committee shall be established consisting of up to three (3) representatives of the Union and three (3) representatives of the Employer, with the capacity of either party to bring in an additional resource person from the Union or the Employer.
7.02 The Employee/Employer Relations Committee shall meet at the request of either party, usually once every two (2) months at a mutually agreeable time to discuss matters of mutual concern. Where practical, each party will notify the other of the proposed agenda items in writing one (1) week in advance of the meeting.
7.03 The Employee/Employer Relations Committee shall address matters of mutual interest to the parties including but not limited to fair and equitable access of employees to educational opportunities.
EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER RELATIONS COMMITTEE. 6.02.01 The function of the Employee/Employer Relations Committee shall be to establish a forum for consultation on changes in conditions of employment not governed by this Agreement and other matters of mutual interest; to permit negotiations of matters of mutual interest between employees in the Bargaining Unit and the management of OPSEU.
6.02.02 Such matters shall not be subject to the mediation and arbitration procedures under this Agreement, provided that nothing shall preclude a grievance alleging a violation of the Collective Agreement.
6.02.03 While the committee shall consider and attempt to resolve all problems of mutual concern, it is understood that the committee shall function in an advisory capacity and shall have no power to amend, or add to, or modify the terms of the Collective Agreement.
EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER RELATIONS COMMITTEE. Both parties agree to maintain an Employee/Employer Relations Committee, consisting of three (3) Union representatives and one
(1) alternate, three (3) management representatives, and an additional resource person when necessary. The Chairperson shall alternate between a member of the Committee selected by the Union and a member of the Committee selected by the Employer. The Chairperson shall appoint a Secretary from among the members of the Committee, who shall keep the minutes of the meeting. Where necessary, such minutes will reflect the confidential nature of the operations of the Employer. The Committee shall meet once a month, or more or less frequently by mutual agreement. The Committee will provide a forum for ongoing communication and the joint consideration of various concerns that arise in the day-to-day activities of the Employees represented by the Union. The parties will endeavour to ensure that such meetings do not exceed two (2) hours. Committee members who attend such meetings shall suffer no loss of pay for time spent in the meetings with the Employer, and in addition shall be granted up to two (2) hours preparation time with pay for each meeting. Grievances are not to be the subject of these meetings. The parties will exchange items with each other for a fixed agenda at least one (1) week prior to each meeting. Items may be added to the agenda at a meeting with the agreement of the Committee members.
EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER RELATIONS COMMITTEE. 7.01 The parties agree that a regional joint consultation committee shall be known as the Employee/EmployerRelations Committee composed ofnot morethan two (2) representatives from the Union and 2 representatives from the Employer per bargaining unit. It is understood the assigned Union Representative for the bargaining unit may attend and participate. The Committees shall beused as a forum for consultation about issues relating to the workplace which affect the parties or any employee bound by this Collective Agreement. Time spent by the two employee representatives from the Union at the Employee/Employer Relations Committees during regular working hours shall be without loss of regular pay.
7.02 The Committees shall meet at the request of either party. Agendas for these scheduled meetings will be circulated ten (10) working days in advance of the meeting. The role of the Chair shall alternate each meeting between a Union representative and an Employer representative.
(1) Union representative and one (1) Employer representative from each regional joint consultation committee will meet together once annually, either via teleconference or in person.
7.03 While the Committees shall consider and attempt to resolve allproblems of mutual concern, it is understood that the Committees shall function in an advisory capacity only and shall have no power to alter, amend, add to or modify the terms of this Agreement.
7.04 The Bargaining Unit Xxxxxxx may make an announcement at the first national staff meeting following the ratification of the new Collective Agreement, of any changes to the Collective Agreement.
7.05 All Bargaining Unit employeeswill receive a standard orientation session upon beginning work at Greenpeace. This session will include a tour of the GPC Intranet site with all relevant policies, procedures and organizational information. The new employee will receive an electronic copy of their job description and this Collective Agreement.
7.06 The Employer and the Union agree to undertake a training session for all managers who supervise members of the bargaining unit, and who have notreceived such a trainingpreviously, within six months of that manager entering their position or within 6 months of the entering into force of this Collective Agreement, whichever is later. An update or ongoing training shall be provided as mutually agreed between the employer and the union.
