Employment Equity Clause Samples
The Employment Equity clause establishes the employer's commitment to providing equal employment opportunities and promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace. It typically outlines measures to prevent discrimination based on factors such as race, gender, disability, or other protected characteristics, and may require the employer to implement policies or programs that support underrepresented groups. By formalizing these obligations, the clause helps ensure fair treatment in hiring, promotion, and workplace practices, addressing systemic barriers and fostering a more equitable work environment.
