Equal Employment/Affirmative Action. The parties recognize and agree to cooperate in fulfilling the Employer's obligations under applicable state and federal Equal Employment and Affirmative Actions Acts, laws and regulations. The Union agrees that the Employer may take whatever steps necessary to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

GRE shall comply with all applicable federal, state, or local laws, rules, or regulations, including but not limited to the following, which are incorporated by reference: Equal Opportunity Laws; Affirmative Action Laws of Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; Affirmative Action Laws for Handicapped Workers; and the Certification ofNon-segregated Facilities Laws. GRE also certifies, if applicable, that it has developed a written affirmative action compliance program. In addition, GRE shall comply with all applicable federal laws and regulations regarding the utilization of small business concerns and/or small disadvantaged business concerns, including, if applicable, any subcontracting plans thereunder.
Equal Employment/Affirmative Action. The parties recognize the Employer’s obligation to comply with Federal and State Equal Employment and Affirmative Action Laws. Upon written request, Local 51 agrees to provide the City with a copy of its current EEO-3 Local Union Report.
Equal Employment/Affirmative Action. THE VIETNAM ERA VETERANS’ READJUSTMENT ASSISTANCE ACT (VEVRAA) To the extent Corning, or a Corning Affiliate, is a federal contractor, Corning, or such Corning Affiliate, and its subcontractors shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation or gender identity, against any employee or applicant for employment, and further requires affirmative action by covered entities to ensure employees and applicants for employment are treated equally without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation or gender identity.
