Evaluation of Tenure Teachers. Every three years, tenured teachers meeting or exceeding their goals shall develop a Professional Growth Plan, which will include the bargaining unit member’s goals and strategies for improvement/learning. A final report of findings and learnings shall be written by the teacher and placed in their personnel file. A response from the building principal to the final report of findings and learnings along with the evaluation rating will be placed in the tenured teacher’s personnel file. Tenured teachers on an improvement plan will be evaluated using the Standard Evaluation Form found in Appendix G. Tenured teachers shall self-evaluate using the Standard Evaluation Form provided in Appendix G in years one and two of their evaluation schedule. In year three, tenured teachers will have the option of completing a Professional Growth Plan or being evaluated by their supervisor using the Standard Evaluation Form in Appendix G. Year three tenured teachers who do not submit a Professional Growth Plan by October 31 will be evaluated using the Standard Evaluation Form (Appendix G). All teachers shall have the opportunity to respond in writing to dispute the final rating of the evaluation and may request a second review by another administrator.

Evaluation of Tenure Teachers. Tenure Teacher Evaluations shall be conducted at least once every three years and prior to April 15. The evaluation shall be based on, but is not limited to, at least two (2) classroom observations conducted during the period covered by the evaluation. Said observations shall be conducted openly and with the full knowledge of the teacher for a period to time not less than thirty (30) consecutive minutes. A teacher shall be notified in writing not later than November 1 of the year in which an evaluation is to take place. Except when a teacher’s performance is deemed unsatisfactory, then further observations shall be made with at least forty-eight (48) hours notice. Tenure Teacher Evaluations shall include information intended to reflect a tenure teacher’s overall professional profile. Tenure Teacher Evaluations that include a classroom observation shall not be limited to events during that time, but may include factors and/or conditions not recorded or recognized during said classroom observation. If the tenured teacher has received less than a satisfactory performance evaluation the school district shall provide the teacher with an IDP (Individualized Development Plan) developed by the appropriate administrative personnel in consultation with the individual teacher to address those areas in which the teacher has been rated unsatisfactory.
Evaluation of Tenure Teachers. Tenure teachers performing at a satisfactory level shall develop a professional growth plan which will include the bargaining unit member’s goals and strategies for improvement/learning. A final report of findings and learning’s shall be written by the teacher and placed in their personnel file. Tenure teachers not performing at a satisfactory level may be evaluated using the standard evaluation forms in addition to the professional growth plan.

  • Accreditation of Public Schools and Adoption and Implementation of School Plans The District will implement a system of accrediting all of its schools, as described in section 22-11- 307, C.R.S., which may include measures specifically for those schools that have been designated as Alternative Education Campuses, in accordance with the provisions of 1 CCR 301-57. The District will ensure that plans are implemented for each school in compliance with the requirements of the State Board pursuant to 1 CCR 301-1.

  • MANAGEMENT OF EVALUATION OUTCOMES 12.1 The evaluation of the Employee’s performance will form the basis for rewarding outstanding performance or correcting unacceptable performance.

  • DISCIPLINE OF TEACHERS A. The Board may adopt rules and regulations not in conflict with the terms of this Agreement concerning the discipline of teachers.
