Existing Conditions Analysis Sample Clauses

Existing Conditions AnalysisThe CONSULTANT will conduct field observations to review existing field conditions, verify desktop data, and obtain additional data required to understand the Project area, assess Project needs, identify physical and environmental constraints, develop and analyze Project alternatives, and assess constructability issues. The CONSULTANT will collect data describing existing conditions and characteristics of the Project including roadway geometrics, typical section elements, signalization and other operational features, access features, right of way requirements, and other data applicable to modes and sub-modes of transportation, including walking/pedestrians, bicyclists, public transit users (including transit vehicles and riders), paratransit users (carpools, vanpools, taxis, shuttles, jitneys, school buses, coach buses), and freight (including loading/unloading and parking, emergency response vehicles, service vehicles, and freight handler vehicles). The CONSULTANT will analyze existing conditions to identify and verify current transportation deficiencies as they relate to the needs and objectives of this Project. The CONSULTANT will furnish necessary exhibits for use in this Project, such as a Project Location Map, Corridor Maps, and Concept Plans.
Existing Conditions Analysis. The recently prepared Preliminary Cottonwood Creek hydraulic model that was submitted to FEMA will be provided by the City and used for baseline conditions. • The existing conditions hydraulic model will be extended through the Xxx Xxxxx Park project site upstream to New York Avenue. • The hydraulic model will be updated with field survey information outlined in Section F. • The existing conditions hydraulic model will be executed for hydraulic assessment. • Floodplain limits and base flood elevations (BFEs) will be established for the Xxx Xxxxx Park project site.
Existing Conditions AnalysisPhase 1 will establish a foundation of knowledge to support the remainder of the planning process, drawing on readily-available data, plans, and studies.
Existing Conditions Analysis. It is imperative to begin the process with a clear understanding of the work that has been done, the underlying fundamentals of the community and a clear understanding of how the comprehensive plan can best address critical issues and opportunities. The Existing Conditions Analysis will be designed as a standalone document to be appended to the comprehensive plan. The existing condition analysis for the downtown subarea plan is covered under Task 2.2. For this task, the Consultant Team will complete the following: • An inventory of past and current plans and studies. • An existing conditions overview of housing, parks and opens spaces, infrastructure and transportation, and the built and natural environment, including identification of wetlands, habitats, threatened and endangered species, streams, riparian areas, geologic hazards, aquifer recharge areas, and frequently flooded areas. The natural environment section will identify areas best suited for development, preservation, or mitigation. • The public infrastructure and facilities section will summarize the existing water, stormwater, and sewer systems and provide an inventory of existing capital facilities. The public services section will summarize existing parks, schools, fire, police, and emergency medical services that serve the city. • The transportation section will identify key considerations and existing constraints as documented in the City’s Transportation System Plan. • A community profile, including population and demographic data. • A summary of existing comprehensive plan policies and associated documents that should be considered during the planning process, including the Countywide Planning Policies and current GMA requirements. • Complete the Department of Commerce Periodic Update Checklist to identify components of the comprehensive plan and development regulations that may need updating to reflect the latest local conditions or to comply with GMA changes since the last periodic update. • An evaluation of economic development trends. • An evaluation of available climate change information (i.e., reports and studies applicable to Camas), anticipated existing and future conditions, and planning considerations (this section will be prepared under Task 3). • Participate in one meeting with City staff to review the existing conditions analysis.
Existing Conditions Analysis. During this first phase, Geographic Information System base maps and other available existing conditions data are used to produce existing conditions mapping. This mapping includes any ongoing planning initiatives that affect the stormwater management potential of the site or study area.
Existing Conditions AnalysisThe Consultant shall review each master plan element listed in the Guidelines and Regulations. The Consultant shall then conduct an assessment and analysis of each of the required and optional master plan elements for each FIU Campus Master Plan Location in accordance with the applicable Guidelines and Regulations.
Existing Conditions Analysis. Task 3.1
Existing Conditions Analysis i. SEH will use the traffic analysis software Synchro to evaluate existing traffic conditions and to develop optimized signal timing plans. ii. The existing timing data and traffic count data will be used to prepare Synchro files and SIMTRAFFIC model for existing conditions for morning and evening peak hours. iii. We will compare Synchro and SIMTRAFFIC model results to field observations and calibrate the model as necessary to accurately represent existing conditions. iv. Once the model is calibrated to represent existing conditions, we will evaluate the Level of Service (LOS) and other Measures of Effectiveness (average speed, delay per movement, number of stops) at each intersection and along the Calumet Avenue corridor for morning and evening peak hour traffic conditions.
Existing Conditions Analysis. This section of the scope of services details how HDR will evaluate the existing conditions within the Dell Range Boulevard & Converse Avenue intersection.
Existing Conditions Analysis. The recently prepared Preliminary Cottonwood Creek hydrologic model that was submitted to FEMA will be provided by the City and used for baseline conditions. • The existing conditions hydrologic model will be subdivided to analyze the Xxx Xxxxx Park project area and calculate discharges at key design points. • Existing conditions discharges for the 5-, 25-, and 100-year storm events will be calculated.
