Federation Days. 1. The Board will provide twenty-three (23) Federation Days. When possible, the Federation will notify the Superintendent or designee that a Federation day will be used five working days in advance by submitting a business day form signed by the President of the Federation. In the event that the nature of the Federation business prevents five day notification, the Federation President will notify the Superintendent or designee, by phone or in person, no later than 90 minutes prior to the start of the school day. The Superintendent or designee will make arrangements to cover teaching assignments when necessary. 2. At times it may become necessary for Federation President and/or designee, with the consent of the Superintendent or designee, to be released from classroom duties to handle urgent school problems. 3. The President of the Federation may utilize his/her planning time for urgent district problems provided the President of the Federation has submitted written notification to the building administrator indicating the reason and destination. 4. If the administration determines it is necessary for the Federation President and/or designee to miss a scheduled class, then such time shall not be deducted from the allotted Federation Days.

Federation Days. Employees serving as delegates to professional organization meetings and conventions concerned primarily with internal affairs of the professional organizations shall be permitted to attend such conventions without loss of pay to the individual but no expense incurred shall be reimbursed in such instances by the Board. Days for these conferences shall not exceed twenty-five (25) school days per year for the MFSA membership.
Federation Days. 21:01 A total of forty-five (45) days, with pay and benefits, will be available each school year for teachers to participate in Federation sponsored activities. The Federation Release days will be subject to approval by the bargaining unit President and prior arrangements with the Principal. The Federation shall advise the Board as soon as possible of the intended use of these days, the dates and the names of the teachers involved. Both parties agree that the best interest of the pupils, the system and the integrity of the education programs shall not be compromised in applying this provision. The Federation shall forthwith reimburse the Board for each day of paid Federation Leave taken by a teacher at the occasional teacher rate. Assignment and lesson plans shall be left by the teacher going on Federation Leave. It is agreed that leave days for the OSSTF President, Chief Negotiator and bargaining committee members shall not be included in the 45 days. However, the Federation shall forthwith reimburse the Board for each of these days at the occasional teacher rate.

Federation Days. The HFT President position shall be granted release time dedicated to completing Union business. If it is a secondary teacher the individual will be granted one (1) class period per day. If it is an elementary teacher, the position will be granted two (2) school days per month not to be used on the first or last student attendance day of the week. If there are Co-Presidents only one of the individuals will be granted the release time. Federation days may be used in the event the Federation sends representatives to local, state, or national conventions or on other business pertinent to the Federation. These representatives shall be excused without loss of pay or personal days. The total amount of Federation days shall not exceed twenty (20) days per school year.

  • Association Days The Association shall be provided a total of twenty-two (22) days during the school year of released time to conduct Association business with a maximum of seven (7) used on any given day. Requests for Association days shall be made in writing and, when at all possible, at least three (3) days prior to such leave and shall be submitted to the Superintendent or his/her designee. The Association shall assume any expense incurred by the hiring of a substitute teacher.

  • Vacation Days Employee shall be entitled to the same paid vacation days each calendar year during the term of this Employee Agreement as authorized by the Company for its other employees.

  • VALUATION PERIOD Each Division will be valued at the end of each Valuation Period on a Valuation Date. A Valuation Period is each Business Day together with any non-Business Days before it. A Business Day is any day the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is open for trading, and the SEC requires mutual funds, unit investment trusts, or other investment portfolios to value their securities. ACCUMULATION VALUE The Accumulation Value of this Contract is the sum of the amounts in each of the Divisions of the Variable Separate Account and General Account. You select the Divisions of the Variable Separate Account and General Account to which to allocate the Accumulation Value. The maximum number of Divisions to which the Accumulation Value may be allocated at any one time is shown in the Schedule. ACCUMULATION VALUE IN EACH DIVISION ON THE CONTRACT DATE On the Contract Date, the Accumulation Value is allocated to each Division as elected by you, subject to certain terms and conditions imposed by us. We reserve the right to allocate premium to the Specially Designated Division during any Right to Examine contract period. After such time, allocation will be made proportionately in accordance with the initial allocation(s) as elected by you. ON EACH VALUATION DATE At the end of each subsequent Valuation Period, the amount of Accumulation Value in each Division will be calculated as follows:
