FOP LEAVE. ‌ Twelve Hundred and sixty (1260) hours with pay, per year, shall be granted to representatives for FOP Business. FOP representatives shall be responsible for giving their individual supervisors advance notice of the representative's absence from work for FOP business.

FOP LEAVE. Section 17.1. A bargaining unit member who is a duly elected member of the Executive Board of the State FOP Lodge or subordinate Lodge Zane No. 5 or the Labor Council Representative of the bargaining unit, shall be authorized to use a maximum of three (3) paid work days per year to attend FOP/OLC functions such as conventions, educational meetings, or conferences; provided, however, that the total amount of FOP/OLC leave for the bargaining unit shall not exceed six (6) days per calendar year. A member must advise the Employer at least ten (10) days in advance of such requested leave.
FOP LEAVE. Members of the Lodge who may require a leave of absence to attend and serve as delegates to F.O.P. conventions or to attend F.O.P.-sponsored training, provided that such leave shall not exceed ninety-six (96) working hours in any calendar year, shall upon reasonable notice of the Lodge president, in writing, to the Chief of Police have the right thereto, with pay. The City shall not be responsible for more than Ninety-Six (96) hours of pay. An additional aggregate of one (1) working week without pay shall also be granted if requested by the F.O.P. The F.O.P. agrees to make appointments to such conventions or training in such a manner as to prevent serious manpower shortages within any one (1) division or platoon of the department.

  • Annual Leave (a) An employee may elect with the consent of the employer, subject to the Annual Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000, to take annual leave not exceeding five days in single day periods or part thereof, in any calendar year at a time or times agreed by the parties.

  • Maternity Leave (a) An employee is entitled to maternity leave of up to 17 weeks without pay.

  • Health Leave Any regular employee of the District may, at the discretion of the Board, be granted a leave of absence without pay for reasons of health, such leave to be specified for a period of not more than one year. Such leave may be extended in case of serious health conditions.
