GENERAL CONDITIONS OF LEAVES OF ABSENCE. Section 1. Except as otherwise provided in this AGREEMENT, request for leave shall be made by employees prior to the beginning of the period(s) of absence and no payment for any absence shall be made until the leave is properly approved. All leaves of absence without pay shall be granted at the sole discretion of the EMPLOYER and must be approved by the EMPLOYER in advance.

  • GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT 1. Definitions 1.1 In this Contract, the following terms shall be interpreted as indicated:

  • Types of Leave Employees shall be entitled to the following temporary noncumulative leaves of absence with full pay each school year.

  • General Leave of Absence a) Leave of absence without pay may be granted to employees for valid reasons as set out by Company policy.

  • Conditions of Service (1). The Dallas County Community College District Dual Credit program falls under Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Rule 19 TAC §§ 4.81-4.85, “Dual Credit Partnerships Between Secondary Schools and Texas Public Institutions of Higher Education.” Services under this Agreement are limited exclusively to Dual Credit for a tuition scholarship for approved Dual Credit courses (Attachment B). For Dual Credit scholarship see 4.K.1 of this Agreement.
