Sick Leave Accruals Sample Clauses
Sick Leave Accruals. Full time employees covered by this Article shall accrue sick leave at the rate of eight (8) hours per month or ninety-six (96) hours per year. Sick leave may be accumulated up to a maximum rollover of twelve hundred (1200) hours.
14.2.1 Employees shall accrue sick leave based on paid hours.
14.2.2 No accrual shall occur during unpaid leave and sick leave accrual will be pro- rated based on the number of hours in paid status up to a maximum of the employee's full or part time schedule. Regular part-time employees shall accrue sick leave on a pro-rata basis.
Sick Leave Accruals. Employees will elect to transfer 100% of their accrued sick leave into their Bencor Special Pay Plan account either upon entering the DROP program or upon final separation of service from the School Board of Sarasota County, subject to contribution limits. Any excess amount will be paid to the participant, subject to all applicable taxes. For any employee extending their DROP election, 100% of their sick leave will be paid out at the end of 5 years and 100% at the end of each extension.
Sick Leave Accruals. Employees will accrue one (1) day of Sick Leave for each full month of employment. Sick leave credits may be accumulated to a total of two hundred fifty (250) working days.

3) Employees hired before October 1, 1985 accrue 12 hours of sick leave per month.
d. Regular and probationary part-time employees shall earn sick leave on a pro-rated basis, based upon employee's full-time equivalent status (FTE) as established and approved by the Department Director and the Kitsap County Budget Office.
e. No more than 1200 hours of sick leave may be carried from one calendar year to the next.
Sick Leave Accruals. 8.2.1 An employee on LEOFF Plan I shall have the option of using sick leave or going on LEOFF Plan I Disability, as provided by RCW 41.26. Employees on the LEOFF Plan I shall accrue forty-eight (48) hours sick leave per year.
8.2.2 An employee on the LEOFF Plan II shall accrue sick leave at the rate of forty- eight (48) hours per year. This accrual may be used for both on and off the job injuries or illness.
8.2.3 All PERS employees shall accrue sick leave at the rate of forty-eight (48) hours per year. This accrual may be used for both on and off the job injuries or illness.
8.2.4 All employees on leave with pay will continue to accrue benefits (e.g., sick leave and paid days off). Health and retirement contributions will continue to be made by the County and/or employee (as applicable), subject to the rules of the applicable retirement system and requirements of the relevant health plan.
8.2.5 Employees working less than full time shall accrue sick leave at the same rate, but in proportion to the number of hours worked.
8.2.6 Sick leave may not be used unless accrued. Sick leave shall be charged to the nearest one-quarter hour.
Sick Leave Accruals for Employees Who Have Completed 90 Days of Active Service
1. Primary Sick Bank
a. Full-Time Employees:
1. For each full month in which he/she is active, a full-time employee will receive four (4) hours of primary sick bank accruals on the second pay period of each month.
2. Full-time employees may carry over up to a maximum of 160 hours of accrued and unused primary sick bank accruals at the end of a calendar year.
Sick Leave Accruals. Any balance of sick leave accrued to an employee in the General Representation Unit as of midnight on July 20, 1979 shall be retained as a sick leave credit for use in the case of a bona fide illness of the employee and subject to provisions as outlined in the Salary, Compensation and Leave Provisions of the County Personnel Practices, Subsection 166.4, "Sick Leave". For those who terminate employment after the July 20, 1979 date with a sick leave balance remaining to their credit, the provisions as outlined in Subsection 166.4 paragraph F, "Conversion of Sick Leave Upon Separation" shall apply.
Sick Leave Accruals. 12-1-1 Prorated employees will accrue one (1) workday of sick leave for each month of service rendered.
12-1 2 All other employees will accrue sick leave in accordance with the following schedule: Food Service Prep Managers will receive nine (9) workdays per work year. Bus Drivers & Assistants will receive nine (9) eight (8) hour workdays per school year. Hourly employees will receive one (1) hour for every twenty (20) hours worked. 12-1-3 Sick leave is accumulative without limit from year to year. Xxxx and vacation leave will not accrue while an employee is on any type of leave. Xxxxxxx begins again when the employee returns to work.
Sick Leave Accruals. Every full-time, employee shall accrue sick leave time at the rate of 80 hours per year, 3.08 hours per pay period. Unused sick leave may be accumulated without limit. Xxxx leave with pay can only be granted by the recommendation of the appointing authority of the employee, in the case of disabilities due to illness, injury or pregnancy.
