General Membership Meetings. Provided the employees’ attendance does not interfere with the operations of the agency and the employee has provided seven (7) calendar days’ advance written notice to the employee’s supervisor with the anticipated duration of time spent away from the worksite, Association members shall, while on duty, be allowed to attend one (1) general membership meeting per fiscal year, regarding labor relations with the Employer. The Employer will not be responsible for travel costs (including mileage, lodging and per diem) or overtime related to the meeting.
General Membership Meetings. All business of the Members acting as a whole will be conducted at meetings called by advance notice to all WECC Members provided in accordance with Section 5.5. Unless stated otherwise in these Bylaws, decisions at all meetings of the Members, Member Classes, or subclasses will be by simple majority vote of the Members present or otherwise represented in accordance with these Bylaws, with each Member having one vote, unless other Bylaw provisions provide for the allocation of the Member’s vote. The Chair of the Board will preside over all Members acting-as-a-whole meetings.
General Membership Meetings. General Membership Meetings. The Executive Board shall arrange at least 1 (one) meeting of the members each year for discussion of professional issues. Special meetings of the general membership may be called by the written request of the President or 15 (fifteen) members. Notification of this special meeting shall be made through the Faculty Representatives.
General Membership Meetings. XXXXX shall have the right to hold general membership meetings before or after school on District property, provided such meetings do not interfere with any aspect of the instructional program and provided that if such meetings entail additional maintenance or custodial expenses, XXXXX shall pay such expenses. Application for such use shall be submitted to the principal of the building at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the intended time of use. If the meeting shall involve more than twelve (12) persons and less than ninety percent (90%) of those attending are employees of the District, a request for permission to use the building shall be made through the Business Office at least forty- eight (48) hours in advance of the time of intended use, and such request shall be processed in accordance with the written policy of the BOARD. In cases of emergency, the above time limitations may be suspended.
General Membership Meetings. CCEA unit employees will be released from duty to attend up to two (2) general membership meetings during the calendar year, with the understanding that such meetings will be scheduled in a manner that minimizes disruption of City services.
General Membership Meetings. General Membership meetings of the NAC will be conducted at least one (1) time each year or more frequently as appropriate.
General Membership Meetings. An annual meeting will be held no later than April 15th of each year and will include the election of officers for the coming year. Other meetings will be held throughout the year as set by the Board not to be less than two
General Membership Meetings. Section 1. General Membership Meetings shall be held as needed but at least quarterly. Notice of General Membership Meetings and proposed meeting agendas will be provided to all Workgroup members in accordance with the Open Meetings Act. The workgroup will support the North Branch Watershed Planning Committee and the North Branch Watershed Consortium through regular discussion at General Membership Meetings. General Membership Meetings are open to the public and membership is not required to participate.
Section 2. An Annual General Membership Meeting shall be held each year at a date, time and location to be determined by the Executive Board.
Section 3. Special Call Meetings of Workgroup members may be called by the President or the Executive Board or upon the written request of members representing 25% of the Workgroup (by number of votes) addressed to the President or Executive Board.
Section 4. All General Membership Meetings of the Workgroup shall be held within the North Branch of the Chicago River watershed planning area (Exhibit A).
Section 5. Each Authorized Delegate and Individual member of the Workgroup shall be entitled to vote at General Membership Meetings.
Section 6. In the event an Authorized Delegate or Individual Member is unable to attend any General Membership Meeting, said member may designate, in writing, a proxy to cast the Member’s vote(s) at a General Membership Meeting.
Section 7. At any General Membership Meeting, the presence of members representing 25% of Workgroup, either in person or by proxy, shall constitute a quorum. A simple majority vote of a quorum of the general membership shall control the policies and actions of the Workgroup.
Section 8. General Membership Meetings shall maintain an informal atmosphere to ensure maximum participation of all members. However, to insure orderly procedure, Robert's Rules of Order may be invoked at any NBWW meetings.
General Membership Meetings. Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of every month at 6.00 p.m. The purpose of the Local Meeting is to keep Members informed on what is happening in the Union. Policies that affect the Local and you as a member are made at these meetings. Special meetings of your Contract group may be held at your request.
