Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day Civic Holiday When the holiday occurs on an employee’s scheduled day off, he shall be paid for the holiday and he shall be permitted to take a day off from his scheduled work week in lieu of the holiday, at a time that is satisfactory to the employee and his supervisor. Employees who have accumulated a minimum of work- ing days’ seniority, will be granted (3) floating holidays per year in addition to the above holidays. Request for floaters are to be submitted in writing three (3) working days in advance of the floater with the exception of emergency situa- tions.
