Half-Salary Sick Leave. Tenured/tenure-track faculty are eligible for half salary sick leave up to a maximum of one hundred (100) days of their contractual assignment. Absence for any portion of a workday shall be considered as one complete day of half- salary sick leave. Tenured/tenure-track faculty are eligible to be placed on half- salary sick leave status following the exhaustion of both their full salary sick leave accrual and their sick leave allotment for that fiscal year. The exact number of half salary sick leave days a faculty member is eligible for will be computed by summing the total number of full salary sick leave days accrued, allotted, and used within the fiscal year, and then subtracting this total from one hundred (100). Faculty may continue on half-salary sick leave from one (1) fiscal year to the next and shall be eligible for a new entitlement of half-salary sick leave annually. Tenured/tenure-track faculty who exhaust their contract sick leave will utilize any hourly sick leave they have accumulated prior to being placed on half- salary sick leave status.

Half-Salary Sick Leave. Monthly employees shall have a potential of one hundred (100) workdays of sick leave at half-salary.
Half-Salary Sick Leave. In addition to full-salary sick leave, unit members shall be entitled to one-hundred (100) days of half-salary sick leave. These one-hundred (100) days of additional sick leave shall be used only after all accumulated full-salary sick leave has been exhausted. The combination of full-salary and half-salary sick leave shall not exceed the following limits per fiscal year: Ten (10) month unit members 110 days Eleven (11) month unit members 111 days Twelve (12) month unit members 112 days Half-salary sick leave is to be used only after full-salary sick leave benefits have been exhausted. This Section shall not apply to unit members having full-salary sick leave in excess of the limits shown above.

The actual half-salary days awarded each year shall depend upon the number of full-salary sick leave days accrued. Half-salary days shall be awarded if the total of full-salary days does not exceed One Hundred (100) workdays, plus the current year's entitlement. Employees may continue on half-salary sick leave from one fiscal year to the next and shall be eligible for a new entitlement of half-salary sick leave annually. Tenured/tenure track faculty who exhaust their contract sick leave may upon request utilize any hourly sick leave they have accumulated prior to being placed on half-salary sick leave status.

  • Accrued 100% sick leave The use of sick leave under this subsection is at the employee's discretion.

  • Sick Leave Pay A Nurse granted sick leave shall be paid for the period of such leave at her or his regular hourly rate of pay and the number of hours thus paid shall be deducted from the accumulated sick leave credits of the Nurse.

  • Base Salary and Benefits (a) During the Employment Period, the Company shall pay Executive an annual base salary of $535,600 (the “Base Salary”). As used herein, references to “Base Salary” shall include all subsequent increases in annual base salary during the Employment Period. The Base Salary shall be payable in regular installments in accordance with the Company’s general payroll practices (as in effect from time to time). (b) In addition to the Base Salary, during the Employment Period, Executive will be eligible to earn an annual bonus under a bonus plan to be established by the Company, payable in accordance with the Company’s customary practices, as determined by the Board, in its sole discretion based upon the Company’s achievement of budgetary and other objectives set by the Board; provided that, in determining the amount of the annual bonus, if any, to be paid to Executive, the Board shall, in determining whether the Company has achieved the budgetary and other goals set by the Board, disregard any payments by the Company and its subsidiaries to Onex (as defined below) and affiliates. (c) During the Employment Period, Executive shall be entitled to participate in all of the Company’s employee benefit programs for which senior executives of the Company and its subsidiaries are generally eligible. Without duplication of any employee benefits provided to all senior executives of the Company and its subsidiaries, the Company shall reimburse Executive for the annual premium cost of $1 million of term life insurance coverage purchased by Executive on his life, up to a maximum of Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000) per year. (d) During the Employment Period, the Company shall (without duplication of any employee benefits provided to Executive pursuant to other provisions of this Agreement) reimburse Executive for all reasonable business expenses incurred by him in the course of performing his duties and responsibilities under this Agreement which are consistent with the Company’s policies in effect from time to time with respect to travel, entertainment and other business expenses, subject to the Company’s requirements with respect to reporting and documentation of such expenses. (e) All amounts payable or otherwise provided to Executive pursuant to this Agreement shall be subject to all applicable withholding and deduction obligations.

  • Sick Leave Benefits Sick leave is an indemnity benefit and not an acquired right. A Nurse who is absent from a scheduled shift on approved sick leave shall only be entitled to sick leave pay if the Nurse is not otherwise receiving pay for that day, and providing the Nurse has sufficient sick leave credits.

  • Accrued Salary and Vacation On the Separation Date, the Company will pay you all accrued salary and all accrued and unused vacation earned through the Separation Date, subject to standard payroll deductions and withholdings. You will receive these payments regardless of whether or not you sign this Agreement.

  • Sick Leave Incentive The City will institute a sick leave incentive based on the usage of the bargaining unit; further, the City will pay each person who qualifies during January of each year. The incentive will be calculated and monitored by the Personnel Department and will be based on the pay periods during a calendar year. The incentive shall be awarded only when the bargaining unit's average sick leave usage is less than the City average and the following conditions are met: When the bargaining unit's sick leave usage is greater than forty (40) hours but less than the City average, the City will pay each member using between zero (0) and sixteen (16) hours of sick leave, eight (8) hours pay and any member using more than sixteen (16) but equal to or less than twenty-four (24) hours, four (4) hours pay. When the bargaining unit's average sick leave usage is equal to or less than forty (40) hours, the City will pay each member who used between zero (0) and sixteen (16) hours, sixteen (16) hours of pay at their current hourly rate. Those members who used more than sixteen (16) but equal to or less than twenty-four (24) hours, will receive eight (8) hours of pay.
