SALARY STATUS Sample Clauses

SALARY STATUS. All Unit employees shall be salaried employees in accordance with the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). A. Notwithstanding any provisions of the Los Angeles Administrative Code, this MOU, or Police Department rules and regulations to the contrary, Unit employees shall not be required to record any specific hours of work for compensation purposes, although hours may be recorded for other purposes. Unit employees shall be paid the predetermined salary for each bi-weekly pay period as indicated in the attached Appendices. They shall not be subject to deductions from salary or leave banks for absences from work for less than a full workday. This provision applies to occasional partial day absences from work which are authorized by the commanding officer in accordance with LAPD Manual Sections 3/230.30 and 3/230.90. This provision does not apply to long term or recurring absences. B. Employees shall not receive overtime compensation except as otherwise provided in Article 4.2. The Chief of Police may grant employees time off for excess hours worked due to unusual situations (such time off shall not be granted on an hour per hour basis). C. In accordance with the revised Department of Labor regulations pertaining to disciplinary suspensions of FLSA exempt employees issued in 2004, employees of this Unit shall not be subject to disciplinary suspension for less than a workweek unless imposed in good faith for misconduct pursuant to a written policy applicable to all employees, and shall not receive supplemental compensation except as provided for in Article 4.2.
SALARY STATUS. When a unit member is reassigned to a position of the same salary range as the unit member's present placement, the unit member will continue to be paid at the currently assigned salary.
SALARY STATUS. 83A. Employees other than those assigned to a classification in Professional Development Framework Level A-E shall be considered exempt employees. In this regard, employees assigned to a classification in the Role Specific Advancement Model shall receive overtime payments as provided in Article 15 10 See Professional Development Framework, Addendum D in the same manner as employees in the Professional Development Framework Level A-E.
SALARY STATUS. 83A. Employees other than those assigned to a classification in Professional Development Framework Level A-F shall be considered exempt employees. In this regard, employees assigned to a classification in the Role Specific Advancement Model shall receive overtime payments as provided in Article 15 in the same manner as employees in the Professional Development Framework Level A-F. Effective immediately upon ratification of this Agreement (10.10.2018), all new hires placed into a classification in (N3) RSAM shall be considered non-exempt employees. After expiration of this Agreement (exp. 6.30.2021), all employees in a classification in (N3) RSAM shall be considered non-exempt employees.
SALARY STATUS. Upon return from sabbatical leave, a teacher shall be placed on the salary schedule at the level he/she would have achieved had the teacher remained actively employed in the system.
SALARY STATUS. Absence on sabbatical leave shall count as a regular period of service and shall not interrupt the employee’s progress on the salary schedule.
