Hepatitis Vaccinations. The employer will meet the cost of Hepatitis A and B vaccinations for all youth detention centre employees who choose to be vaccinated.
Hepatitis Vaccinations. 2 10.7.1 Teachers of the Severely Handicapped, Physical Education Teachers, Nurses and coaches 3 who are unit members, request an authorization form from the District which authorizes 4 the District/insurance-approved health care provider to administer all Hepatitis B 6 responsible for the reimbursement to the unit member within eighteen (18) months of this 7 expense.
8 10.7.2 Any bargaining unit member who suspects exposure to the hepatitis virus may request and 9 shall be provided an authorization form from the district which authorizes the 10 District/insurance-approved health care provider to administer the Hepatitis vaccination 11 series.
Hepatitis Vaccinations. Employees assigned to positions where they are at risk of hepatitis shall be provided an opportunity to have a hepatitis vaccination at no cost to them provided the employee receives the vaccination at the County Board of Health.
Hepatitis Vaccinations. 1. The City and the Association recognize that employees assigned to this bargaining unit are subject to a greater occupational risk of exposure to the hepatitis viruses. The City and the Association further recognize that it is in both the City’s and Association members’ benefit to vaccinate against the hepatitis viruses.
2. To minimize the risk of contracting hepatitis, all Police Officers, Corporals, Sergeants, Community Service Officers and any other non-sworn member of the Association who perform matron duties or other duties that raise their risk of exposure to hepatitis are to be offered the option of receiving hepatitis vaccination(s) at the City’s expense. Booster vaccination(s), if deemed necessary by competent medical advice, shall also be provided at the City’s expense at appropriate intervals.
3. Newly hired employees in the above-listed classifications shall be advised in writing by the Human Resources department of the employee’s option to receive hepatitis vaccination(s) at City expense. If the employee exercises his/her option, the vaccination process shall begin within 90 days of the new employee’s notification to the Human Resources department of his/her wish to receive the vaccination(s).
4. The vaccinations shall be conducted in an approved medical manner by health care professionals at a facility determined by the City.
Hepatitis Vaccinations. 40.01 The Employer shall offer Hepatitis vaccinations to all employees through the Medina County Health Department at no charge.
Hepatitis Vaccinations. All members shall be offered the opportunity to receive Hepatitis-B Vaccination on a regular basis (as medically needed) at the Town's expense.
Hepatitis Vaccinations. (1) Employees who are employed in designated high-risk vocations may choose to be provided Hepatitis A and B vaccinations upon commencement and will be required to fund the vaccination initially themselves. Upon successful completion of their probation period these employees shall be reimbursed 100% of the cost of the vaccinations. High-risk classifications are primary points of contact with the hepatitis infection and include repetitive work in the sewerage plant, deck hands, nurses and carers for children who are not toilet trained.
(2) The Company shall provide to Employees engaged as Housekeepers or Room Attendants vaccinations on a voluntary basis. Such employees will be required to fund the vaccination initially themselves and shall be entitled to receive a 75% rebate after at least six months of continuous employment either before or after they are vaccinated.
(3) All other employment categories are classified as secondary points of contact and will be entitled to volunteer for Hepatitis A and B vaccinations at any stage of their employment. They will be required to fund the vaccination initially themselves. Each employee who does so, will then be entitled to a 50% cost reimbursement subject to that employee having accumulated at least six months of continuous employment either before or after they are vaccinated.
(4) Any employee intending to claim a Hepatitis reimbursement will be required to present evidence of expenditure which satisfies the Company that an entitlement to reimbursement exists. The amount to be reimbursed will not include any amounts covered by Medicare such as medical consultation fees etc.
Hepatitis Vaccinations. The County Health Officer shall review the classifications covered by this MOU and make a recommendation as to the benefit of having hepatitis vaccinations provided to employees within designated classifications. This review and recommendation shall be completed within six (6) months from the approval of this MOU. A copy of the recommendation will be provided to SEIU – Local 535. The County agrees to continue exploring the possibility of creating a child care facility for use by County employees. SEIU – Local 535 may request that informational material be distributed to employees covered by this MOU via the County Inter-Office Mail system. All such requests must be submitted two weeks in advance of the proposed distribution date to the Personnel Services Manager – Labor Relations in writing with the informational material attached. If the Personnel Services Manager – Labor Relations authorizes the distribution of the information via the County Inter- Office Mail system, the Union will be notified and required to provide the appropriate number of copies, in addressed envelopes to the County Reprographics Manager for distribution.
Hepatitis Vaccinations. The District will pay for the series of three Hepatitis vaccinations for all employees who have the potential to be exposed to the disease. It is understood that such vaccinations are on a purely voluntary basis and that the District does not require any employee to participate in the procedure.
Hepatitis Vaccinations
