HOUR S O F WORK. Work schedules for each of the operational units shall be drawn up by the Employer from time to time, but limited to once per school term and for the exam period in December and April . Shifts shall be allotted for each respective position according to a seniority list for each position. The most senior person in the position shall have first choice of one shift followed by the next most senior, and so on. When all the employees in a position, who are not laid off, have chosen a shift, the process shall start again from the top of the seniority list.

HOUR S O F WORK. Work Schedules – Non-Exempt Employees 18.1 Full-time employees in non-exempt classifications shall work a minimum workweek of forty (40) hours in a seven (7) day period or eighty (80) hours in a fourteen (14) day period. 18.2 The appropriate administrator shall determine the work schedule for an employee. An employee shall be provided with notification of a permanent work schedule change or a summer work schedule at least twenty-one (21) days prior to the effective date of the work schedule change. The appropriate administrator shall give consideration to employee seniority. 18.3 For those employees assigned a five (5) day workweek, the workday shall normally consist of eight (8) hours. 18.4 For non-exempt classifications, the full-time workweek is a workweek of forty
HOUR S O F WORK. 28.1 Academic year employees shall be available for assignment on each academic workday as specified on the campus academic calendar. 28.2 Ten (10) and eleven (11) month employees shall be available for assignment on all workdays within the assigned ten (10) or eleven (11) months, respectively. 28.3 Twelve (12) month employees shall be available for assignment on all workdays within the assigned twelve (12) months. 28.4 For those employees assigned a five (5) day workweek, the workday shall normally consist of eight (8) hours. The workweek for such employees shall normally be Monday through Friday, inclusive. 28.5 For those employees assigned a four (4) day workweek, the workday shall normally consist of ten (10) hours. 28.6 Less than full-time employees shall be assigned hours and days of work as determined by the appropriate administrator. 28.7 Daily and weekly work schedules shall be established by the appropriate administrator. An employee shall be provided with notification of a permanent work schedule change or a summer work schedule change at least twenty-one (21) days prior to the effective date of the work schedule change. 28.8 An employee shall be entitled to a meal period not to exceed sixty (60) minutes. The time of such a meal period shall be designated by the appropriate administrator. The appropriate administrator may adjust meal periods to account for variations in work schedules. Such meal periods shall not count toward hours worked, except as provided for in provision 28.9. 28.9 An employee in a classification listed in Appendix D who is required to remain on the job at his/her work station for a full workday shall be permitted to take a meal period, not to exceed thirty (30) minutes, during worktime. 28.10 When an employee is required to work more than two (2) hours before or two (2) hours after a regularly scheduled workday, he/she may claim the actual cost of each overtime meal up to the maximum allowed for lunch in accordance with CSU travel regulations. All claims for overtime meal reimbursements must be supported by a voucher. The time taken to consume the overtime meal will not be included in the computation of overtime for the purposes of this allowance. 28.11 An employee shall not be required to interrupt his/her work to consume his/her overtime meal. Overtime meals may be taken before, after or during the overtime period. This provision shall not apply to employees receiving a per diem rate.

  • Ordinary Hours of Work The ordinary hours of work will be worked any time between 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Ordinary hours of work may be varied by agreement between the Employer and the majority of the employees concerned and the ETU State Secretary (via the relevant full time ETU Official) to accommodate the hours or work required for the most efficient and safe operation of the Employer and the requirements of its client. Where agreement is reached to work alternate hours, occupational health and safety principles will prevail. Proper health monitoring procedures will be introduced and suitable rosters clearly agreed prior to commencing work. Adequate supervision must always be provided. Matters on which agreement may be reached include: a) How the hours are to be averaged in a work cycle b) The duration of the work cycle

  • Development Work The Support Standards do not include development work either (i) on software not licensed from CentralSquare or (ii) development work for enhancements or features that are outside the documented functionality of the Solutions, except such work as may be specifically purchased and outlined in Exhibit 1. CentralSquare retains all Intellectual Property Rights in development work performed and Customer may request consulting and development work from CentralSquare as a separate billable service.

  • ARTICLE HOURS OF WORK The following provision designating regular hours on a daily tour and regular daily tours over the nursing schedule determined by the Hospital shall not be construed to be a guarantee of the hours of work to be performed on each tour or during each tour schedule.
