Individual Development Plans (IDP. A. Each year every teacher shall submit a plan for individual professional development to his/her Principal as part of the Performance Based Evaluation System. The approved IDP is intended to provide teachers with an opportunity to design their own professional growth plans based on their individual needs and personal goals, except as noted in 14.3 B. Individual Development Plans (IDP. The Employer and the Union recognize the importance of training activities to furthering the agency mission through the enhancement of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and the potential of employees. Self-study is a useful method of training and career development.
