Investigation Services. The County will provide investigation services consisting of the services of detectives consistent with the services provided by the Sheriff’s Department to residents of unincorporated Pierce County. Investigation services will also include special units within the Sheriff’s Department investigating certain crimes including – but not limited to – homicide, special assaults, aggravated assaults, sexual assaults, robberies, and domestic violence assaults. The detectives are supported by forensics, crime analysts, polygraph, identifications, evidence control and Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS).
Investigation Services. 6.1 During the Term the Private Doctor shall: (a) make Investigation Service request(s) during the Screening Phase for each Scheme Participant and, if he wishes, may make Investigation Service request(s) during the Treatment Phase when and where clinically indicated as per the Private Doctor’s professional judgment, subject to established clinical protocols, and issue a referral letter via the IT Platform to refer any Scheme Participant to Investigation Services Provider(s) for investigation of the Scheme Participant’s Relevant Illnesses and other clinical conditions; (b) inform each Scheme Participant of the amount of the Investigation Co- Payment which the Scheme Participant is required to pay directly to the Investigation Services Provider(s) for any Investigation Services that are recommended as part of the referral and shall not charge the Scheme Participant in this regard; (c) inform each Scheme Participant to contact the Investigation Services Provider(s) for conducting the Investigation Services with the referral letter on his own accord; and (d) interpret the results of Investigation Services and confirm whether the purpose of the requested Investigation Services has been fulfilled and make the required input in the IT Platform according to the Operation Manual. 6.2 The Private Doctor acknowledges and agrees that: (a) the Investigation Services results from Investigation Service Provider(s) are for reference only and are not substitute for professional advice, diagnosis or treatment; and (b) it is his sole responsibility to interpret the results of the Investigation Services and to arrange for any necessary follow-up and the Government shall have no liability in relation thereto.

Specific tasks include: a) Determining the most appropriate investigative method(s) to be used for each investigation and what support will be needed from County's staff. b) Travelling to County locations to interview witnesses, complainants, and other persons; gather documents; prepare witness affidavits and supporting documentation; conduct all research necessary and gather all evidence sufficient to complete each assigned investigation; and support any conclusions regarding violations of County policies and/or state or federal law. c) Evaluating all evidence gathered in each investigation to formulate defensible investigative conclusions regarding the alleged violations. d) Providing updates to County Human Resources staff on the progress of the investigation, including any anticipated changes to the established cost and/or timeline, on a bi-weekly basis or as requested by County. e) Preparing and sending an investigation report containing background information, interviews conducted, credibility determinations (if applicable), factual findings, transcriptions of recorded interviews (if applicable), and supporting documents and conclusions. B. County-specific services shall include, but are not limited to, the following: i.   • Investigational Services This plan covers certain experimental or investigational services as described in this section. This plan covers clinical trials as required under R.I. General Law § 27-20-60. An approved clinical trial is a phase I, phase II, phase III, or phase IV clinical trial that is being performed to prevent, detect or treat cancer or a life-threatening disease or condition. In order to qualify, the clinical trial must be: • federally funded; • conducted under an investigational new drug application reviewed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA); or • a drug trial that is exempt from having such an investigational new drug application. To qualify to participate in a clinical trial: • you must be determined to be eligible, according to the trial protocol; • a network provider must have concluded that your participation would be appropriate; and • medical and scientific information must have been provided establishing that your participation in the clinical trial would be appropriate. If a network provider is participating in a clinical trial, and the trial is being conducted in the state in which you reside, you may be required to participate in the trial through the network provider. Coverage under this plan includes routine patient costs for covered healthcare services furnished in connection with participation in a clinical trial. The amount you pay is based on the type of service you receive. Coverage for clinical trials does not include: • the investigational item, device, or service itself; • items or services provided solely to satisfy data collection and that are not used in the direct clinical management; or • a service that is clearly inconsistent with widely accepted standards of care.

  • Information Services The Custodian may rely upon information received from issuers of Securities or agents of such issuers, information received from Subcustodians or depositories, information from data reporting services that provide detail on corporate actions and other securities information, and other commercially reasonable industry sources; and, provided the Custodian has acted in accordance with the standard of care set forth in Section 6 (a), the Custodian shall have no liability as a result of relying upon such information sources, including but not limited to errors in any such information.

Parents and guardians must assume a responsibility for maintaining this partnership by supporting the school in the provision of education to their children within the scope of School's registration and furthering the spiritual and academic life of their children.

  • Acquisition Services (i) Serve as the Company’s investment and financial advisor and provide relevant market research and economic and statistical data in connection with the Company’s assets and investment objectives and policies; (ii) Subject to Section 4 hereof and the investment objectives and policies of the Company: (a) locate, analyze and select potential investments; (b) structure and negotiate the terms and conditions of transactions pursuant to which investments in Properties, Loans and other Permitted Investments will be made; (c) acquire, originate and dispose of Properties, Loans and other Permitted Investments on behalf of the Company; (d) arrange for financing and refinancing and make other changes in the asset or capital structure of investments in Properties, Loans and other Permitted Investments; and (e) enter into leases, service contracts and other agreements for Properties, Loans and other Permitted Investments; (iii) Perform due diligence on prospective investments and create due diligence reports summarizing the results of such work; (iv) Prepare reports regarding prospective investments that include recommendations and supporting documentation necessary for the Directors to evaluate the proposed investments; (v) Obtain reports (which may be prepared by the Advisor or its Affiliates), where appropriate, concerning the value of contemplated investments of the Company; (vi) Deliver to or maintain on behalf of the Company copies of all appraisals obtained in connection with the Company’s investments; and (vii) Negotiate and execute approved investments and other transactions, including prepayments, maturities, workouts and other settlements of Loans and other Permitted Investments.

  • Observation Services This plan covers services provided to you when you are in a hospital or other licensed health care facility solely for observation. Even though you may use a bed or stay overnight, observation services are not inpatient services. Observation services help the physician decide if you need to be admitted for care as an inpatient or if you can be discharged. These observation services may be provided in the emergency room or another area of the hospital or licensed healthcare facility. See the Summary of Medical Benefits for the amount you pay.

  • Ongoing Services It is important to review every investment you hold and at regular intervals. At the time of, or prior to, our recommendation to you we will discuss our on-going service proposition. This is confirmed in our ‘service proposition and engagement’ document which will be sent to you separately from this agreement.

  • Monitoring Services IDT staff shall, using methods that include face-to-face and other contacts with the member, monitor the services a member receives. This monitoring shall ensure that: a. The member receives the services and supports authorized, arranged for and coordinated by the IDT staff; b. The services and supports identified in the MCP as being provided by natural and community supports are being provided; and c. The quality of the services and supports received is adequate and still necessary to continue to meet the needs and preferences of the member and support the member’s outcomes identified in the MCP.
