LAUNDRY AND UNIFORMS. (1) Where an employee is required by the employer to wear a special uniform, sufficient uniforms shall be provided at the employer's expense. In lieu of providing uniforms, the employer shall pay an allowance of $4.86 per week to the employee. (2) Uniforms shall be laundered free of cost to employees. Where the uniforms of an employee cannot be laundered by the school an allowance of $1.55 per week shall be paid to the employee. (3) For the purpose of this paragraph a uniform shall be deemed to be "required" unless the employer advises the employee that the wearing of uniforms is not a condition of employment.

LAUNDRY AND UNIFORMS. The Employer shall pay one-half of the rental and laundry bill of three uniforms per week. If over three uniforms are used per week, employee shall pay the entire cost for the uniforms in excess of three except where the Employer re­ quires additional uniforms, then the entire cost shall be paid by the Employer for the uniforms in excess of three. No uni­ forms shall be taken from the Employer’s place of business except by permission of the Employer.

(c) Uniforms will be replaced as and when necessary on a fair wear and tear basis. 39.2 The Employer will determine the material, colour, pattern and conditions of the uniforms issued. 39.3 At all times the uniform issued to the Employee will remain the property of the Employer. 39.4 No staff member will be required to wear stockings. 39.5 All staff must wear a suitably enclosed shoe, however the Employer may not specify colour or brand. 39.6 The standard uniform issue may be varied by agreement between the Employer and the Union where a hospital has the need for particular items of clothing to be worn. 39.7 Part time and casual Employees will be entitled to uniforms in sufficient quantity to enable a clean uniform to be worn each day. 39.8 By agreement between an Employer and an Employee and where a hospital is situated north of 26° south latitude, jackets and cardigans need not be supplied.

LAUNDRY AND UNIFORMS. (1) Where the hospital requires a uniform to be worn, an adequate supply of such uniforms shall be provided free of charge to caregivers. Uniforms shall be replaced on an "as required" basis. (2) Uniforms shall at all times remain the property of the hospital and must be returned to the hospital on termination. The cost of laundering shall be met by caregivers.

An allowance shall be provided by the Employer to the Caregiver for each year thereafter corresponding with the financial year. The allowance shall be $41 per contracted day per year, with a minimum uniform allowance of $80 per year up to a maximum of $ 208 per year. The year shall coincide with the financial year. This allowance shall be reviewed on an annual basis by the Employer taking into consideration any increase in the cost of items. (3) Uniforms shall at all times remain the property of the Employer and must be returned laundered to the Employer on termination. (4) The cost of laundering shall be met by Caregivers. (5) Caregivers shall be responsible for providing appropriate clean and safe footwear. (6) Nothing in this clause shall prevent the Employer and the Caregiver making other arrangements as to laundry and uniforms not less favourable to the Caregiver. (7) A uniform will only be replaced in circumstances where it has been damaged through no fault of the Caregiver or where it is faulty. (8) The provisions of this clause shall not detract from the Employer's obligation pursuant to s.19 of the Occupational Health Safety and Welfare Act 1984 to provide Caregivers with adequate personal protective clothing and equipment where it is not practicable to avoid the presence of hazards at the workplace.
LAUNDRY AND UNIFORMS. 41.1 Where a full-time employee is required to wear a uniform, the employer will: (a) provide a first issue of any new uniform adopted by the employer to the value of $500.00; (b) pay a uniform allowance of $6.05 per week; Each employee will be responsible for the replacement, laundering and maintenance of their uniform. 41.2 Where a part-time employee is required to wear a uniform, the employer will: (a) provide a first issue of any new uniform adopted by the employer to the value of $400.00; (b) pay a uniform allowance of $6.05 per week on a pro-rata basis calculated as the ratio by which their normal hours worked bear to 37.5; Each employee will be responsible for the replacement, laundering and maintenance of their uniform. 41.3 The uniform allowance at sub-clause 41.1(b) will increase annually by the rate of the agreed quantum and on the dates applicable to the quantum increase as shown: Effective 1st pay period on or after 01.01.2023 $6.05 Effective 1st pay period on or after 01.01.2024 $6.23 Effective 1st pay period on or after 01.01.2025 $6.42 Effective 1st pay period on or after 01.01.2026 $6.61 42.1 An employee is on call when directed by the employer to remain at such a place as will enable the employer to readily contact them during the hours when they are not otherwise on duty. In so determining the place at which the employee shall remain, the employer may require that place to be within a specified radius of the hospital. 42.2 An employee will be paid an hourly allowance as defined in the table below. Provided that payment in accordance with this paragraph will not be made with respect to any period for which payment is otherwise made in accordance with the provisions of this clause when the employee is recalled to work.
