Lead Hand Pay. An employee who on instruction by the Employer performs as a Lead Hand, in a lead position not already established in Appendix “A”, shall be paid an additional 8% on their regular rate of pay for all time spent in the lead function.
Lead Hand Pay. Employees required to function as a lead-hand will be paid a rate of $1.00 per hour in excess of their regular rate and be considered to continue to be working in the bargaining unit and will be covered by all provisions of this agreement.
Lead Hand Pay. (a) Lead hands shall receive $3.00 per hour, above the highest rated classification under their supervision. Acting/relief lead hands shall receive $1.31 per hour. When an employee works in an acting/relief lead hand role for two (2) consecutive months, they will be paid the lead hand rate of $3.00 for any continuing acting/relief work going forward.
Lead Hand Pay. An employee who on instruction by the Employer performs as a Lead Hand, in a lead position not already established in Appendix “A”, shall be paid an additional eight percent (8%) on their normal hourly rate for all time spent in the lead function. If a field operations employee is required to perform as a lead hand for more than twelve (12) continuous months, the compensation for filling this role will be increased to ten percent (10%). The employee will retain the ten percent (10%) for as long as the lead hand role continues without a break. If there is a break of three (3) months or more (not including periods of lay off or training) and the employee is asked to be a lead hand at a later date, they will be paid at the eight percent (8%) rate until they complete another twelve
Lead Hand Pay. An employee who on instruction by the Employer performs as a Lead Hand, in a lead position not already established in Appendix “A”, shall be paid an additional 8% on their regular rate of pay for all time spent in the lead function. A lead hand is responsible to coordinate and direct the work of other employees and/or contractors. This work includes but is not limited to: organizing and assigning crew tasks, maintaining work standards, resolving issues between workers, ensuring workers comply with safety regulations and advising supervisors of worker concerns. Classifications that are expected to perform these functions as part of their normal job will not qualify for Lead Hand pay. (classifications such as Seniors, Supervisors and other classifications expected to perform these duties as part of their normal work functions).
