Medical Disability. If the Executive is on leave for medical reasons, or the Executive requests a change in the Duties or hours of work for medical reasons, the Executive agrees to cooperate with the Employer in obtaining any information reasonably necessary for assisting the Employer with assessing the Executive’s ability to work and any accommodations required of the Employer.

Medical Disability. 1. Due to a medical disability which is substantiated by a certificate from a medical doctor, an employee shall be granted an extended leave of absence without pay; however, during the period of the employee's personal, medical disability, accumulated sick leave benefits shall be paid until such benefits are exhausted. During such time of medical disability leave, said employee shall be covered by existing health insurance benefits for a period up to and including three (3) months after the expiration of the grace period. 2. No tenured or non-tenured employee shall be barred from returning to work after a medical disability leave on the grounds that not enough time has elapsed during the recovery period.

Medical Disability. Medical/disability leaves of absence without pay may be granted in cases of sickness, injury, pregnancy, childbirth or adoption.

Medical Disability. You must provide The Centre with a verification from your physician stating your medical disability will prevent you from using the facility. The member must present this documentation within 15 days of start of the medical disability.

Medical Disability. 14.01 Notwithstanding any provision in this Agreement, after thirty (30) calendar days for absence due to sickness or disability the Employee shall apply for extended disability benefits. 14.02 While waiting for approval/rejection of application for extended disability benefits, an Employee shall be entitled to continue to utilize their accumulated sick leave credits for up to ninety (90) days. 14.03 Employees who begin receiving extended disability benefits as provided by this Article above shall not be entitled to the sick pay benefits provided elsewhere in this agreement 14.04 Employees who exhaust their accrued sick leave entitlement or reach the ninety

Medical Disability. If employees incur a medical disability which prevents them from performing their regular work, but which does not render them incapable of carrying out other duties within the bargaining unit, the Company will make every effort to place such employees in a job, which in the Company-Union Medical Committee's opinion is suitable to their capabilities, without a posted "Notice of Vacancy".

Medical Disability. Medical/disability leaves of absence may be granted for a justifiable period of time up to ninety (90) calendar days. Extensions may be granted up to a total of 180 calendar days.

Upon termination of medical benefits when applicable, the employee may elect to retain said benefits by prepaying the Board of Education on a monthly basis, so as to continue group rate premiums, in accordance with the New Jersey Public Employee Benefit Manual.
