Mid-Year Conference. Evaluators and educators will meet to discuss current ratings on observed components from observations and review collected evidence and artifacts by February 28th. The purpose of the conference is to assess progress of the TPEP process and of the educator’s professional practice and identify specific components on which to focus. If a second formal observation cycle is required, this conference may be merged with that cycle’s pre-observation conference.

Mid-Year Conference. The evaluator shall meet with the teacher for a mid-year conference to be held no later than the end of February. The purpose of the meeting will include, but is not limited to: 1. To discuss the teacher’s progress toward goals set in the fall; 2. To discuss the teacher’s progress toward establishing student growth goals and evidence of student progress toward meeting those goals; 3. To discuss areas of strength and areas of growth for the teacher relevant to the 8 criteria; 4. To develop plans for observations the remainder of the year.

A conference report will be compiled by the supervisor and a copy made available to the supportive employee. The report shall contain the items discussed.

Mid-Year Conference. 12.6.1 A conference will be held by February 15 of each year between a permanent unit member and the supervisor for the purpose of determining the extent to which the employee is meeting performance goals. Such progress shall be noted in the “Mid-Year Observation Notes” section of the Evaluation Form. 12.6.2 When an employee is determined to be unsatisfactory in any area, the supervisor shall make specific recommendations for improvement.

  • PRE-JOB CONFERENCE a) The Employer shall notify the union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference shall be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in the Agreement. This conference may be conducted via telephone, through a scheduled meeting or by some other practical means as agreed to by the parties. b) A copy of the pre-job conference report shall be provided to the Employer, the Union and the Job Xxxxxxx (s).   • Evaluation Conference The final evaluation conference shall occur not later than the end of the fall term. The purpose of the final evaluation conference is to discuss with the probationary employee the results of the evaluation and announce the team’s recommendation. The evaluation team shall determine what additional evaluation activity shall occur during the spring term. If the team recommends that the District not employ the professor for the following year, no evaluation activities in the spring are necessary.

  • Preconstruction Conference Prior to, or concurrent with, the issuance of the Notice to Proceed with Construction, a conference will be convened for attendance by the Owner, Contractor, A/E and appropriate Subcontractors. The purpose of the conference is to establish a working understanding among the parties as to the Work, the operational conditions at the Project Site, and general administration of the Project.   • Informal Conference An employee against whom the disciplinary action is being considered may be requested to attend an informal conference with the immediate supervisor, his/her designee and/or a Human Resources Administrator prior to official written notification or any recommended disciplinary action. At such conference, the employee shall be informed orally of the specific disciplinary action being considered as well as the reasons therefore and be given an opportunity to respond thereto. At such a conference, the employee may represent himself/herself and/or be represented by a union representative. Holding such an informal conference is discretionary with the District and the failure to do so shall not invalidate any disciplinary action taken pursuant to this regulation.

  • Quarterly Conference Calls The purpose of this contact will be to obtain a greater understanding of the performance of the Portfolio, the reasons for that performance, and to gain valuable insights into the Portfolio provided by the manager.

  • Post-Observation Conference 1. The post- observation conference between the evaluator and teacher will be held no later than ten (10) days after the formal observation. 2. The purpose of the post-observation conference is to review the evaluator’s and teacher’s evidence related to the scoring criteria during the observation, and to discuss the teacher’s performance. 3. If there is an area of concern, the evaluator will identify specific concerns for the applicable criteria and provide possible solutions to remedy the concern in writing.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences A. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable. B. In the event that a bargaining unit member does not communicate with a parent on the established date for parent unit member conferences as per the calendar adopted by the Board, a reasonable attempt to contact that parent will be made. A reasonable attempt constitutes a phone call or email. If that contact is not returned, the bargaining unit member shall not be obligated to make further contact.

  • Church Conference Vote At least two-thirds (2/3) of the professing members present at a church conference of the Local Church must vote to disaffiliate from The United Methodist Church “for reasons of conscience regarding a change in the requirements and provisions of the Book of Discipline related to the practice of homosexuality or the ordination or marriage of self-avowed practicing homosexuals as resolved and adopted by the 2019 General Conference, or the actions or inactions of its annual conference related to these issues which follow.” Local Church shall provide documentation, to the satisfaction of Annual Conference, which evidences the result of the disaffiliation vote taken at the church conference. Such documentation must be certified by an authorized officer of Local Church and shall be included as an Exhibit A to this Disaffiliation Agreement.
