Missions. The Strategic Committee shall among others be responsible for (i) identifying and supervising research and development projects of common interest in the Field; and (ii) supervising the performance of any R&D Projects, such task to including without limitation (a) definition, validation and where necessary modification of the strategic and scientific orientations to be given to the R&D Project, based upon the proposal of the corresponding Operational Committee and, as the case may be, modify the R&D Project Program; (b) review of the R&D Project Results; (c) information to the other Party of one Party’s intention to file a patent application under the R&D Project Results; (d) proposition and review of publications or press releases relating to R&D Projects and R&D Project Results; (e) solvation of technical issues that have not been resolved by the Operational Committee; (f) designation of the Party in charge of the project management of each R&D Project; and (g) designation of the members of the Operational Committee.
Missions. The Consultant shall travel to Bonn, Germany twice for the Project launch and for the Final meeting during 2019, and in at least four countries where the pilot schools are located. The specific countries of mission shall be determined at the Project Launch meeting with concurrence of the Consultant. Each of the missions to be undertaken shall last for up to five days (excluding travel time) while missions to Bonn shall last for up to a maximum of two days (excluding travel time). The Consultant is responsible for organizing one mission to each of the four (project site) countries, to conduct face-to-face consultations and to support and implement the pilot activities of the i-hubs. The specific countries of mission shall be determined with the Consultant’s concurrence. Each of the missions to be undertaken by the Consultant shall last for up to five days (excluding travel time). The travel lump-sum shall be calculated based on UNESCO’s rates and regulations.
Missions. The Consultant is responsible for organizing one mission to each of the three (project site) countries, to conduct face-to-face consultations and to support and implement the pilot activities of the i-hubs. Missions. The Quality Assurance Board leads the quality management and quality enhancement policy design and implementation in line with the Quality Assurance Policy which reflects the Consortium recognition that an active and strategic engagement towards quality assurance is instrumental to the fulfillment of the Consortium mission. To that end, the Quality Assurance Board shall be responsible for - although not limited to - :
(a) ensuring the design and implementation of an efficient, relevant and auditable Quality Assurance Policy to develop good practices and methodological innovation;
(b) disseminating the quality procedures, the results of the monitoring plan, annual quality assurance reviews, and corrective actions plan;
(c) ensuring convergence of this Quality Assurance Policy with the Erasmus Mundus Quality Assessment (EMQA), throughout all dimensions of the Programme (teaching methodologies, learning methodologies, training methodologies, Learning Outcomes evaluation, etc.);
(d) fostering the quality of learning and teaching activities, formal, non-formal and informal Learning Outcomes, teaching coordination among semesters and partners;
(e) fostering the quality of the overall academic coordination, board-level coordination, Full Partners’ integration and engagement;
(f) ensuring the adequacy of the Learning Outcomes with the needs of Associated Industrial Partners and targeted employers in general, assessing the relevance of changes or updates proposed within the curriculum;
(g) ensuring that all stakeholders (Students, alumni, teaching staff, etc.) are engaged in a participatory way to the Quality Assurance Policy, and
(h) applying effectiveness, efficiency and transparency as key management principles.
(a) the indicators and targets for the internal monitoring and annual quality review of the Programme and notably the student’s feedbacks through questionnaires and focus groups design and implementation;
(b) the Learning Outcomes Evaluation indicators and process.
Missions. The Academic and Management Board shall be in charge of the overall direction, over-arching academic design of the Programme and the strategic development of the Programme. The Academic and Management Board shall take responsibility for the successful running of all Programme related activities. To that end, the Academic and Management Board shall be responsible for - although not limited to - :
A. at academic level
(a) defining the Programme structure, ensuring consistency of the courses sequence, ensuring quality of teaching, ensuring credit recognition within each Hosting Institution and Learning Outcomes assessment criteria and rules;
(b) supervising any changes on teaching offer that may occur in each Hosting Institution and validating courses syllabuses and associated Learning Outcomes;
(c) selecting the Students and guest lecturers and to validate their mobility. The final student selection will be conducted at the Hosting Institutions, according to their rules and regulations
(d) tracking the academic achievements of Students, and
(e) resolving and stating on disputes that may arise from Students; providing Students with an appeal procedure in case of conflict. This cannot, however, prevent the student form bringing the dispute under the proper and independent procedure of dispute resolution.
B. at management level
Missions. In exceptional cases only, the host manager may, at the request of the mentor concerned stating the business reasons thereof, authorise a trainee to be sent on mission. Trainees must, in principle, be accompanied by an Agency staff member and shall not represent the Agency. Trainees must ensure that they are fully covered by their health insurance policy during the mission, including any accidents that may occur while travelling. The provisions of the EUROCONTROL Missions Guide relating to the reimbursement of mission expenses shall apply by analogy to trainees.
Missions. The rules contained in this article only apply if there is no relevant airline procedure established by the Parent Company. Other situations will be open to discussion, at company level, with the UOs that have signed the NCLA.
Missions. 17.3.1. Check on the observance of CMAS rules, procedures and decisions and take necessary measures whenever necessary without having the right to change any rule, except that concerning rules and procedures for the organisation of CMAS competitions or playing rules of the corresponding discipline.
17.3.2. Check all the procedures related with General Protocol.
17.3.3. Send a report of the competition to the CMAS General Secretary.
Missions. Missions shall be effected in the context of the Project execution and for the following purposes: − to hold meetings (as categorised in the next paragraph). Some of these meeting can be held in Brussels EUROCONTROL offering their facilities for this purpose. − to assist in Tender Evaluation for the CYPRO System components − to assist in the Factory Acceptance Testing of the CYPRO System components − to assist in the Site Acceptance Testing of the CYPRO System components − to assist in the Operational Evaluation of the CYPRO System components − to assist DCA Cyprus in Progress meetings with Contracting Parties − to perform Project Management interfacing and co-operation with other Projects − following a specific request (if effort is available) from DCA CYPRUS.
Missions. 1. The rules contained in this article only apply if there is no relevant airline procedure established by the parent company. Other situations will be open to discussion, at company level, with the Trades Union Organisations which have signed the NCLA.
2. As well as having the ticket paid or the relevant amount reimbursed, after presenting the necessary supporting documents personnel on mission are entitled to reimbursement of food and accommodation expenses, increased by 2% to cover ancillary costs that cannot be documented. On the days of departure and return, the employee is entitled to receive reimbursement for breakfast, lunch and dinner, provided that the departure or return is before or after 8.00 am, 1.00 pm and 8.00 pm, as the case may be.
3. Personnel sent on a mission are entitled to receive a reasonable advance to cover food and accommodation expenses.
4. If the employee is sent on a mission in order to take part in training courses, which last more than seven days, the period and dates must be agreed with the employee himself/herself.
5. For the purposes of this article, even a mere temporary move away from the place of work to another Municipality located away from that in which the work is normally carried out is considered to be a mission or transfer.
