Night Meetings. Full time Professional Employees in one or more buildings may be required to attend up to five (5) night meetings throughout the school year, one of which is exclusively reserved for night conferences. Night duties shall be no longer than three (3) hours in length with the exception of graduation. Full-time Professional Employees who serve more than one building may agree to attend a sixth night meeting, in which case such employee shall be compensated for attendance at the middle (non-instructional) hourly rate designated in Article XI.D. 4. Professional Employees who are part time will only be required to attend the same number of pro rata activities as their percent of contract, provided; however, that all part-time employees may be required to attend as many as three (3) night meetings. Night meetings may include, but are not limited to: Back-to-School night, Open House, PTA meetings, graduation, parent conferences and other activities that the principal determines necessary. Attendance at night meetings can only be required after a contract day Monday - Thursday. However, no Professional Employee will be required to perform, as a night meeting, any activity that is required to be the subject of a supplemental contract pursuant to applicable statutes.

Night Meetings. Any teacher or coordinator required by the board to appear at a night meeting other than those delineated in the contract shall receive $15 and mileage to and from their home.

  • Joint Meetings 10.1(a) Should either party desire to discuss with the other any matter affecting generally the relationship of the parties, a meeting of Union and management representatives shall be arranged upon request of either party. Such meeting shall take place at a time mutually convenient to both parties.   • Management meetings 31.1 Either the Engineer or the Contractor may require the other to attend a management meeting. The business of a management meeting shall be to review the plans for remaining work and to deal with matters raised in accordance with the early warning procedure. 31.2 The Engineer shall record the business of management meetings and is to provide copies of his record to those attending the meeting and to the Employer.   • GENERAL MEETINGS The Academy Trust shall hold an Annual General Meeting each year in addition to any other meetings in that year, and shall specify the meeting as such in the notices calling it; and not more than fifteen months shall elapse between the date of one Annual General Meeting of the Academy Trust and that of the next. Provided that so long as the Academy Trust holds its first Annual General Meeting within eighteen months of its incorporation, it need not hold it in the year of its incorporation or in the following year. The Annual General Meeting shall be held at such time and place as the Governors shall appoint. All meetings other than Annual General Meetings shall be called General Meetings.

  • Open Meetings (a) All scheduled meetings of the Employer shall be open meetings, except in those cases where personnel, financial or other matters require that the meeting be considered confidential. (b) In those cases where a meeting is designated confidential, the Union shall be provided with a reason for such designation.   • Faculty Meetings Principals shall have the authority to schedule necessary faculty meetings; however, such meetings shall be as brief and well planned as possible. Such meetings shall be used for purposes that cannot be accomplished effectively through other means. Faculty meetings shall be scheduled in a manner that impacts teacher planning time to the least degree possible. If more than one faculty meeting is held in a month, the purpose of the meeting shall be announced to the faculty in advance.

  • Public Meetings The Governing Board is subject to and shall comply with the Open and Public Meetings Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-14-1 et seq., and any subsequent amendment thereof. The Governing Board shall conduct regular meetings consistent with principles of transparency and avoidance of actual or apparent conflicts of interest in the governance of the Charter School.

  • Project Meetings The Contractor shall attend a preconstruction conference and shall participate in regularly scheduled Project meetings.
