Training Attendance. When an employee is assigned to training for a day, his/her normal shift shall be considered an eight (8) to ten (10) hour training period. If the employee is engaged in training activity for all but one hour of their regularly assigned work shift he/she shall not be required to perform additional work for the City on that date, except in the case of an emergency.

Training Attendance. ‌ Employees attending approved training sessions shall earn Regular Pay if the training is held during the employee’s usual work shift. Employees attending approved training sessions will receive Overtime Pay for hours spent in training in excess of their scheduled work day or in excess of a total of 80 hours in a work period.

Training Attendance. All players are expected to attend training sessions punctually and show the right attitude and commitment towards Managers, Coaches and fellow players. Players should come prepared with the correct training kit. Training sessions are held at Warblington School 3G (Southleigh Road, Havant, PO9 2RR) on Thursday evenings between 7-9pm, unless informed otherwise. Players may from time to time be expected to attend Club functions including fundraising events and end of season presentation evenings.

  • Training Assistance (a) Employees shall be reimbursed for one hundred percent (100%) of the tuition for job-related courses approved by the Employer.

  • Trainings iv. Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.

  • Overtime and Calls 8.1 Except as otherwise provided, time in excess of eight hours' service (exclusive of meal period) shall be considered overtime and shall be paid on the actual minute basis at the rate of time and one-half time.

  • Training Services Training Services may include pre-packaged training Products, and/or the development or customization of training programs as requested, including Live Training, Computer Based/Multi-Media Training which encompasses Internet-Delivered Training, and/or Video Based Training.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved.

  • Driver Training A. All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "C", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.
