NO DISCRIMINATION OR COERCION. 4.01 The Employer and the Union agree that there will be no discrimination, interference, restrictions or coercions exercised or practiced by either party hereto or by any representative of either party with respect to any employee because of his/her membership or non-membership in the Union or because an employee holds a position with the Union.
4.02 The Employer and the Union agree to abide by the provisions of the Ontario Human Rights Code.
NO DISCRIMINATION OR COERCION. ARTICLE
3.01 No discrimination, intimidation or coercion will be practiced or permitted by either the Board or the Union or any of their officers or representatives against any employee by reason of race, creed, colour, national origin, political or religious affiliation, sex or marital status, place of residence, nor as defined by the Ontario Human Rights Code or by reason of his/her membership or activity in the Union, or by reason of his/her lack of membership or activity in the Union.

4.02 The Union agrees that there will be no intimidation, interference or coercion exercised or practiced by any of its members or representatives, and that there will be no Union activity or solicitation for membership during working hours on the Employer's property except with the written permission of the Employer or as specifically provided for in this Agreement.
NO DISCRIMINATION OR COERCION. 5.1 The Employer and the Union agree that there shall be no discrimination, interference, restriction or coercion exercised or practiced by either party with respect to any employee by reason of age, race, creed, colour, place of national origin, political or religious affiliation, sex, marital status, or by reason of an employee's membership or lack of membership or activity in the Union. Furthermore, the Employer and the Union agree that their representatives and members will adhere to the provisions contained in the Ontario Human Rights Code and Occupational Health and Safety Act as amended.
5.2 No employee will be subject to any form of reprisal for the rejection or reporting of any behavior in contravention of the Ontario Human Rights Code or Occupational Health and Safety Act or any additional legislation as may be applicable.
a) Copies of all policies related to respect in the workplace shall be made available to each employee.
b) The employer shall bring any new Corporate human resources polices, to the Labour/ Management Committee, as information. Copies of all policies related to respect in the workplace shall be made available to each employee.
NO DISCRIMINATION OR COERCION. 16.01 The Employer agrees that there will be no discrimination, interference, restriction or coercion exercised or practised by any of its representatives with respect to any employee because of her membership or non-membership in the Union.
16.02 The Union agrees that there will be no intimidation, interference or coercion exercised or practised by any employee of the Employer, by any of its members or representatives, and that there will be no Union activity, solicitation for membership or collection of dues during working hours except with the written permission of the Employer or as specifically provided for in this Agreement.
16.03 The parties agree that there shall be no discrimination under the terms of the Ontario Human Rights Code.
NO DISCRIMINATION OR COERCION. 3.01 The Employer agrees that there shall be no discrimination or coercion exercised or practiced by it or any of its representatives with respect to any employee because of her/his participation in the Union or in the matter of hiring, rates of pay, employee benefits, training, promotion, transfer, lay-off, recall, discipline, discharge or other terms and conditions of employment by reason of race, creed, colour, age (except for retirement as provided for in the welfare benefits), sex, sexual orientation, marital status, nationality, ancestry, religion, place of origin, or physical disability as per the Ontario Employment Standards Act, the Ontario Human Rights Code, and the Ontario Labour Relations Act.
3.02 Neither the Employer nor the Union, or representatives of either party shall intimidate, interfere with, restrain or use coercion upon employees of the Employer because of membership, activity or inactivity in the Union, or in any labour organization. The Union agrees that there will be no Union activity on University premises except as contemplated by this Agreement.
NO DISCRIMINATION OR COERCION. The Corporation and Union agree that there will be no discrimination, restriction, intimidation, coercion or harassment of any person by either party on the basis of race, colour, gender, marital status, disability, political or religious affiliation, or by reason of membership or non-membership in the Union or on any grounds under the Ontario Human Rights Code.
NO DISCRIMINATION OR COERCION.
11.1 No Discrimination (EEO)
a. The provisions of this Agreement shall be equally applied to all employees in the bargaining unit without discrimination as to age, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, marital or familial status, race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, disability, veteran or military status, gender identity or expression, genetic information, or political affiliation. The Union shall share equally with the Authority the responsibility for applying this provision of the Agreement.
b. Sexual harassment shall be considered discrimination under this Article. Sexual harassment is defined by local, State, and Federal laws, and includes any unwanted sexual attention.
NO DISCRIMINATION OR COERCION. 17.01 The Employer and the Union agree that there shall be no discrimination, interference, restriction or coercion exercised or practiced by either of them with respect to any employee by reason of age, race, creed, colour, place of national origin, political or religious affiliation, sex, martial status, or by reason of activity in the Union. Furthermore, the Employer and the Union agree that their representatives and members will adhere to the provisions contained in the Human Rights Code of Ontario, as amended.
