Non-Discrimination and Equal Employment. The VENDOR will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The VENDOR shall adhere to acceptable affirmative action guidelines in selecting employees and shall ensure that employees are treated equally during employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Such action shall include, but not be limited to, the following: employment, upgrading, demotion or transfer, recruitment or recruitment advertising; layoff or termination, rates of pay or other forms of compensation; and selection for training, including apprenticeship. The VENDOR agrees to post in conspicuous places, available to employees and applicants for employment, notices provided by the local public agency setting forth the provisions of this nondiscrimination clause. The VENDOR will cause the foregoing provisions to be inserted in all subcontracts for any work covered by this Agreement so that such provisions will be binding upon each subcontractor, provided that the foregoing provisions shall not apply to contracts or subcontracts for standard commercial supplies or raw materials. The VENDOR agrees to comply with such rules, regulations or guidelines as the COUNTY, State or Federal agencies may issue to implement the requirements in this Article 13. As applicable, the VENDOR shall be licensed as required by law.

SMART-TD and the City agree to adhere to any anti-discrimination and harassment in the workplace policies set forth in the City of Santa Xxxxxx Administrative Instructions as well as applicable federal and state anti- discrimination and equal employment opportunity laws. Employees shall not be subject to intimidation, retaliation, or discrimination for exercising their legitimate rights under these policies.

Non-Discrimination and Equal Employment. Both AP and the Guild are committed to building a workplace free from unlawful discrimination or harassment. In keeping with their respective policies, AP shall not unlawfully discriminate against any employee in hiring, promotion, wages, terminations or other terms and conditions of employment because of such employee’s race, color, creed, religion, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, mental or physical disability, ancestry, marital status, national origin, or other legally protected status or choices regarding Union membership or activities on behalf of the Union. AP is committed to providing equal opportunity in all aspects of employment and administer all personnel policies and procedures in an equal, non-discriminatory manner, and to complying with all relevant and applicable federal, state or local laws prohibiting discrimination or requiring equal opportunity.
Non-Discrimination and Equal Employment. The Company shall ensure that applicants for employment are considered for employment, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, religion, color, sex, national origin, ancestry, veteran status, disability, or age.
Non-Discrimination and Equal Employment. ENGINEER agrees:
1. That in the hiring of employees for the performance of work under this contract or any Subconsultant hereunder, no ENGINEER, or Subconsultant, nor any person acting on behalf of such ENGINEER or Subconsultant, shall, by reason of race, religion, color, sex, national origin or ancestry, discriminate against any citizen of the State of Indiana who is qualified and available to perform the work to which the employment relates.
2. That no ENGINEER, Subconsultant, nor any person on his behalf shall, in any manner, discriminate against or intimidate any employee hired for the performance of work under this contract on account of race, religion, color, sex, national origin or ancestry.
3. That the CITY may deduct from the amount payable to the ENGINEER a penalty of five dollars ($5.00) for each person for each calendar day during which such person was found to have been discriminated against or intimidated in violation of the provisions of the contract.
4. If there is found to be a second or any subsequent violation of the terms or conditions of this section, then this contract may be cancelled or terminated by CITY and all money due or to become due hereunder will be forfeited.

In keeping with their respective policies, neither DSA nor the Guild shall unlawfully discriminate against any employee in hiring, promotion, wages, terminations or other terms and conditions of employment because of such employee’s race, color, creed, religion, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, mental or physical disability, ancestry, marital status, national origin, or other legally protected status or because of such employee’s membership in, or activities on behalf of, the Guild.
b. DSA is committed to providing equal opportunity in all aspects of employment and administer all personnel policies and procedures in an equal, non-discriminatory manner, and to complying with all relevant and applicable federal, state or local laws prohibiting discrimination or requiring equal opportunity. Further, as embodied in Article 23, the parties are committed to ensuring that the pay policy reflects the shared commitment to pay equity and equal pay for work of comparable value.

The Contractor shall comply with all federal and state nondiscrimination laws, including, but not limited to Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and Chapter 49.60 RCW, Washington’s Law Against Discrimination, and 42 U.S.C. 12101 et seq, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
