The following principles apply to this Agreement: • the Agreement is consistent with the CRD and other relevant European legislation, with the applicable national laws and regulations of the Authorities involved, as well as with the applicable principles issued by the Basel Committee and CEBS Guidelines; • cooperation among the Authorities takes place mainly through the College, whose organisation reflects the activities and the legal structure of Danske Bank Group; bilateral cooperation takes place between Authorities in the College for matters of relevance to the respective Authorities; • while the College does not have decision making powers, it plays a role in the coordination of supervisory activities and enhancement of supervisory cooperation; • the principle of proportionality is applied where appropriate.
Objectives and Principles of Cooperation. 1.1 Common Interests of the Participants to the MoU
1.1.1. Implementation of the Revised AVMS Directive and consideration of all associated matters in this context;
1.1.2. Ensuring respect for the objectives of media pluralism, cultural diversity, the protection of audiences (in particular, the protection of minors), the promotion of freedom of expression, the proper functioning of the internal market and the promotion of fair competition;
1.1.3. Endeavouring to ensure a high level of consumer protection in their Member State’s audiovisual media services and the possibility to provisionally restrict the freedom to provide services in line with consumer protection provided that such restrictions are justified, proportionate and necessary;
1.1.4. Endeavouring to respect and protect human dignity and to tackle audiovisual content containing incitement to violence or hatred directed against a group or a member of a group and containing any public provocation to commit a terrorist offence, observing that measures taken for these purposes shall be necessary and proportionate and respect the rights and observe the principles set out in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union;
1.1.5. Exchanging experience and best practices with other NRAs on the application of the regulatory framework for audiovisual media services, including on accessibility and media literacy;
1.1.6. Functioning as independent bodies exercising statutory authority pursuant to the revised AVMS Directive; and
1.1.7. Cooperating and providing other NRAs with the information necessary for the application of the Revised AVMS Directive.

Programmes and projects shall contribute to support the reform process in the Republic of Kosovo and to mitigate the social and economic costs of adjustment. They shall also contribute to alleviate hardship of most vulnerable segments of Kosovo society.

2.4. Both Parties share a common concern in the fight against corruption, which undermines the rule of law and good governance, and hinders development. In addition, corruption endangers a basic principle of market economy, namely the fair and open competition based on price and quality. They declare, therefore, their intention of combining their efforts to fight corruption and declare, in particular, that no offer, gift, payment, consideration or benefit of any kind, which constitutes an illegal act or corrupt practice, has been or will be made directly or indirectly as an inducement or reward for the execution of this Agreement. Any act of this kind constitutes sufficient ground to terminate this Agreement or for taking any other corrective measures foreseen by the applicable law.

Both Parties share a common concern in the fight against corruption, which jeopardizes good governance and the proper use of resources needed for development and, in addition, endangers fair and open competition based on price and quality. They declare, therefore, their intention of combining their efforts to fight corruption and declare, in particular, that no offer, gift, payment, consideration or benefit of any kind, which constitutes an illegal act or corrupt practice, has been or will be made directly or indirectly as an inducement or reward for the execution of this Agreement. Any act of this kind constitutes sufficient ground to terminate this Agreement or for taking any other corrective measures foreseen by the applicable law.
Objectives and Principles of Cooperation. (1) The Contracting Parties shall strive at achieving the goals of a sustainable and equitable water management, including the conservation, improvement and the rational use of surface waters and ground water in the catchment area as far as possible. Moreover the Contracting Parties shall make all efforts to control the hazards originating from accidents involving substances hazardous to water, floods and ice-hazards of the Danube River. Moreover they shall endeavour to contribute to reducing the pollution loads of the Black Sea from sources in the catchment area.
(2) The Contracting Parties pursuant to the provisions of this Convention shall cooperate on fundamental water management issues and take all appropriate legal, administrative and technical measures, to at least maintain and improve the current environmental and water quality conditions of the Danube River and of the waters in its catchment area and to prevent and reduce as far as possible adverse impacts and changes occurring or likely to be caused.
(3) To this end the Contracting Parties, taking into account the urgency of water pollution abatement measures and of rational, sustainable water use, shall set priorities as appropriate and shall strengthen, harmonise and coordinate measures taken and planned to be taken at the domestic and international level throughout the Danube Basin aiming at sustainable development and environmental protection of the Danube River. This objective in particular is directed to ensure the sustainable use of water resources for municipal, industrial and agricultural purposes as well as the conservation and restoration of ecosystems and to cover also other requirements occurring as to public health.
(4) The Polluter pays principle and the Precautionary principle constitute a basis for all measures aiming at the protection of the Danube River and of the waters within its catchment area.
(5) Water management cooperation shall be oriented on sustainable water management, that means on the criteria of a stable, environmentally sound development, which are at the same time directed to: - maintain the overall quality of life; - maintain continuing access to natural resources; - avoid lasting environmental damage and protect ecosystems; - exercise preventive approach.
(6) The application of this Convention by no means shall cause any significant direct or indirect increase of impacts to the riverine environment.

10. The objectives of the Agreement are the following: • to facilitate the exchange of information, views and assessments among supervisors in order to allow for more efficient and effective consolidated and solo supervision (including the avoidance of duplication of tasks) and timely action in going concern and emergency situations; • to enable supervisors to develop a common understanding of the risk profile of the Citadele Banka Group as the starting point for risk-based supervision at both group and solo levels; • to achieve coordination of supervisory review and risk assessment, establish supervisory plans for the mitigation of risks, arrange any division of tasks and joint on-site supervisory visits; • to coordinate major decisions taken by individual authorities as far as possible and practicable and to strive to reach consensus where appropriate.
11. The authorities support each other in exercising their supervisory tasks.
Objectives and Principles of Cooperation. The Community and its Member States, of the one part, and the ACP States, of the other part (hereinafter referred to as the Contracting Parties), hereby conclude this cooperation Convention in order to promote and expedite the economic, cultural and social development of the ACP States and to consolidate and diversify their relations in a spirit of solidarity and mutual interest. The Contracting Parties thereby affirm their undertaking to continue, strengthen and render more effective the system of cooperation established under the first, second and third ACP-EC Conventions and confirm the special character of their relations, based on their reciprocal interest, and the specific nature of their cooperation. The Contracting Parties hereby express their resolve to intensify their effort to create, with a view to a more just and balanced international economic order, a model for relations between developed and developing states and to work together to affirm in the international context the principles underlying their cooperation.
