Off Duty Time. An employee who shall be called as a witness arising out of and in the course of the employee's County employment during the employee's off duty hours shall be compensated for the time spent, or shall be compensated for a two hour minimum, whichever is greater.

Off Duty Time. There must be at least eight (8) hours of off-duty time for any worker who moves to a different shift or who works overtime before or after a shift. When workers are not given eight hours off before starting work again, double the shift time rate shall apply to all hours worked.

Off Duty Time. 7.1 Off duty time shall consist of all time worked beyond the end of a scheduled shift, time worked when ordered to report back to duty after going home, time when called on a day off and all off duty time required to be spent in court in cases arising directly from the officer’s employment as a Lynnwood police officer.

When a unit employee is required to appear in court on behalf of the City during a time which is scheduled off-duty, the unit employee shall be credited overtime for all hours in court at one and one-half (1½) times the unit employee’s straight hourly rate. b. A unit employee who is off duty shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours at time-and-one-half (1½) credited for any one (1) such court day. c. This minimum guarantee is intended to compensate the employee inclusively for: • Disruption of off-duty time, • Travel time, and • Preparation for the court appearance as well as actual court time. d. The unit employee shall receive the greater of: • Overtime pay for all actual hours worked (if the court appearance exceeds four (4)hours); or • The four (4) hour minimum.
