Duty Periods. 1. A Flight Attendant's duty period, at her/his domicile, shall begin one hour (1:00) prior to scheduled block-out time (check-in) and end fifteen minutes (:15) after actual block-in of her/his last segment or when the Flight Attendant is actually released, whichever is later (check-out).
2. A Flight Attendant's duty period, other than at her/his domicile, shall begin forty-five minutes (:45) prior to scheduled block-out time and shall end fifteen minutes (:15) after actual block-in time of her/his last segment, or when the Flight Attendant is actually released, whichever is later.
3. If a Flight Attendant's first leg of her/his duty period is a deadhead, other than at her/his domicile, report time shall be thirty minutes (:30) prior to scheduled block-out time.
4. At a layover station, a report time may not be reduced to less than twenty minutes (:20) prior to scheduled departure.
5. In the event that a Flight Attendant is required to clear Customs after the last leg of a pairing, release time shall be thirty minutes (:30) after actual block-in time or when the Flight Attendant is actually released, whichever is later (check-out).
Duty Periods. E-12-b A Trip that includes a Flight between the United States or Canada and any point in Europe may not be scheduled for more than six (6) Duty Periods and shall not contain more than four (4) such Flights.
Duty Periods. Duty Periods shall commence, prior to the schedule departure time or earlier as required by the Company, in accordance with the following:
Duty Periods. 6.2.2.1 Duty Periods shall be up to fourteen (14) hours of continuous duty time with provision for extension up to seventeen (17) hours when working a Split Shift or Positioning / Deadheading.
6.2.2.2 Flight Duty Periods begin when a flight crew member is required to report for duty with the intention of conducting a flight, a series of flights, or positioning, and ends fifteen (15) minutes after the aircraft is parked with engines off after the last flight, and there is no intention for further aircraft movement by the same flight crew member.
Duty Periods. Teachers will not be assigned "duty periods," e.g., cafeteria duty, study hall monitor. Opportunity Period. Two (2) weekly forty (40) minute Opportunity Periods will be part of the regular High School schedule in grades 9-12 for all teachers. The Opportunity Period is not to be considered a "duty period" nor an extra period. Bargaining Unit Members shall be assigned students and content areas for the Opportunity Period, as determined by the Administration. Bargaining Unit Members shall only be responsible for remediation and academic support for the content areas in which a Member is certified. Bargaining Unit Members shall not be required to assess grades for students assigned to the Bargaining Unit Member for the Opportunity Period. The Opportunity Period shall not be subject to or included in any teacher evaluation, unless requested by the Bargaining Unit Member. No preparation or planning shall be required for the Opportunity Period as the Opportunity Period will be used for student intervention and/or programming and materials assigned and provided by the Administration. The maximum number of students per Bargaining Unit Member during Opportunity Period shall be eighteen (18).
Duty Periods. 5.02.01 The duty period will commence at the scheduled check-in time or at the required reporting time, whichever is earlier, and continue to the scheduled check-out time or when released from all duty, whichever is the later. For middle duty periods where Pilots and Flight Attendants are required to travel together they shall have the same check-in and check-out times.

5.02.03 If the Company should change the times Flight Attendants are required to be on board the aircraft to commence the boarding procedure, the check-in time will be increased accordingly.
5.02.04 A pay credit (for pay purposes only) of one-quarter (0.25) will be added to the end of each pairing operated by the In-charge for the purpose of completing post flight duties as long as Flight Attendants are required to remit/record monies from onboard sales.
5.02.05 If transportation is required for the crew to get to the airport from the point of check-in and back to the point of check-out the Company shall be responsible to ensure such transportation is available.
5.02.06 For pairing building purposes, a duty period shall not be scheduled in excess of thirteen

With the mutual agreement of the Flight Attendant(s) affected, said duty period may be expanded to fourteen and one half (14.5) on a day of basis.
.07 For duty periods commencing between 2300 and 0500 hours local time or when one-third (1/3) of the duty period falls between the hours of 2300 to 0500 local time, the maximum duty periods shall be twelve (12) hours.
