Overtime Payable a. Overtime is payable in the following circumstances Employee type Circumstances Full-time employees All authorised overtime worked in addition to the employee's rostered ordinary hours. Part time employees (other than an employee classified in the Health Professionals Group 4 in Table 1Wage Rates Anytime worked beyond: a. 76 hours per fortnight; b. 10 hours per day or shift. Time worked up to 10 hours per day or shift shall not be regarded as overtime but an extension of the employee's Contract Hours for that day. Part time employee classified in the Health Professionals Group 4 in Table 1 – Wage Rates Anytime worked beyond the employee's Contract Hours as determined under clause 14.4 will be regarded as overtime. Casual employees Anytime worked beyond: a. 76 hours per fortnight b. 10 hours per day or shift. Employees classified in Group 5 Nurses in Table 1 – Wage Rates RN Level 4 - Not entitled to be paid overtime. All Nurses (except RN Level 4) - If, on the instruction of the employer, a Nurse resumes or continues to work without having had 10 consecutive hours off duty, or 8 hours as agreed, they will be paid at the rate of double time until released from duty for such period (unless the person is working a broken shift in accordance with clause 25.2). This provision is in addition to the provisions in 26.2c.iii.

Overtime Payable. Except as otherwise provided in this Article or any 27 Memorandum of Understanding executed between the parties, employees shall be paid at the 28 contractual daily overtime rate for all hours worked inclusive of lunch period, outside of the 1 employee’s regularly scheduled shift. For the purposes of this section, the contractual daily overtime 2 rate is defined as one and one-half times the combined amount of the employee’s hourly base rate of 3 pay, as specified in the Addendum A wage table, plus any applicable hourly pay premiums in effect 4 at the time the overtime is worked. If the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requires a higher rate of 5 pay for any overtime hours worked, the employee shall be paid the higher rate of pay pursuant to the 6 FLSA.

  • Overtime Payments (1) Subject to the provisions of this subclause, all work performed outside of the Ordinary Hours and time worked to accrue an RDO on any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, shall be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first two hours and double time thereafter.

  • Overtime Payment Full-time employees shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times the employee's straight time hourly rate for all time worked outside of their normal work hours and/or work days up to sixteen (16) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period.   • Overtime Pay a) A casual employee shall be entitled to overtime pay in accordance with Article 27.05 in the following circumstances:

  • Overtime Pay Calculation Overtime shall not be claimed or received for less than fifteen (15) minutes. If overtime amounts to fifteen (15) minutes, or more, it shall be paid for the total period.

  • Overtime Premiums All time worked before or after the regularly established working day shall be considered overtime and be paid for at one hundred and fifty (150%) percent of the employee's pro- rated hourly rate for the first two (2) hours and double the employee's regular hourly rate for each hour worked thereafter.

  • Overtime Premium (a) Employees shall be entitled to payment of time and one-half (1-1/2X) the employee's basic straight time hourly rate for all authorized overtime work in excess of seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours in a tour of duty or in excess of the average full-time hours of work over the period scheduled by the Hospital. Such period for this purpose shall not exceed two (2) weeks. It is understood that no overtime will be paid where the time worked was a result of an exchange at shifts between employees. Overtime shall be distributed as equally as practical among those employees normally performing the type of work to be done on overtime. Notice of overtime work shall be given as soon as practically possible. It is understood and acknowledged that the Hospital has the right to require employees to perform reasonably authorized overtime work. Call-back shall not be considered as hours worked for purposes of this Article. Overtime premium will not be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall other premiums be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal work week and also as hours for which the overtime premium is paid. Where an employee is required to work additional overtime contiguous to an overtime shift within a twenty-four (24) hour period, the employee will be compensated at the rate of double time his or her straight time hourly rate for all additional contiguous overtime hours worked.

  • Overtime Premium Pay Time and one-half (1 1/2) the employee's straight time rate of pay shall be paid for all hours actually worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one workweek.

  • Overtime Compensation (a) Overtime worked shall be compensated at the following rates:

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • PAYMENT OF WAGES AND ALLOWANCES 25.01 The Employer shall pay salaries and wages bi-weekly in accordance with Schedule “A” attached hereto and forming part of this Agreement. On each pay day, each Employee shall be provided with an itemized statement of his/her wages and deductions. Deficiencies in an Employee’s pay in excess of $50.00 shall be paid by way of an advance within three (3) days of advising the Employer.
