Professional Dues or Fees. A. Any employee who is a member of the Association who signs and delivers to the District an assignment authorizing deduction of unified membership dues, initiation fees and general assessments of the Association, shall have such authorization continue in effect from year to year unless revoked in writing between June 1, and September 1 of a given year. Any such revocation should be effective for the next school year. Pursuant to such authorization, the District shall deduct such dues, fees or assessments from the regular salary check, in twelve equal installments each year. Should an individual be employed after the beginning of the school year, he/she shall pay a pro rata amount based on the number of months employed as compared to 12 months.

Professional Dues or Fees. A. The Association certifies that it has and will maintain employee dues authorizations. Upon notification by the Association by the 5th of each month the District shall deduct association membership fees for union members in an amount specified by the Association. Such deductions shall continue until notification by the Association to the District that a member’s fees be terminated. The refund of any overpayment of fees through payroll deduction caused by discrepancies between payroll deadlines and Association notification to the District shall be the responsibility of the Association.
Professional Dues or Fees. 8.1 Employee Rights The District and the Association recognize the right of employees to form, join, and participate in lawful activities of employee organizations, and the equal alternative right of employees to refuse to form, join and participate in employee organizations. Neither party shall exert pressure upon nor discriminate against an employee in the exercise of these alternative rights. Accordingly, membership in the Association shall not be compulsory.

  • Professional Dues The school district will pay the annual dues for the Superintendent’s membership in the American Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and Nebraska Council of School Administrators.
