Automatic Payroll Deduction. Upon receipt of written authorization individually signed by the employee, the Port will deduct from the pay of such employee the amount of dues and initiation fees as certified by the Union. The Port shall transmit such fees to the Union once each month on behalf of the members involved.
Automatic Payroll Deduction. The Board agrees to automatic payroll deduction, as a condition of employment, of an amount equal to the dues of the United Education Profession (B.E.A., UniServ, NEOEA, OEA, NEA) from the pay of all members (excluding members on leave of absence and casual substitutes) who elect not to become members of the United Education Profession (UEP), or who elect not to remain members.

Automatic Payroll Deduction. 3.1.1 The Association and its affiliates (WEA UniServ Council, WEA and NEA) shall have the right of automatic payroll deduction of membership dues, assessments, and fees for employees. 3.1.2 The Association shall provide an automatic payroll authorization form to each certificated employee. Certificated employees desiring membership shall sign and deliver such authorization to the Association during the enrollment period at the beginning of the school year.
3.1.3 The Association shall submit the automatic payroll authorization to the District payroll office for processing. A table of prorated annual dues, assessments, and fees shall be supplied to the District payroll office by the Association to determine monthly dues deductions.
3.1.4 The automatic payroll authorization form shall clearly state that it is understood by the certificated employee signing the authorization that continuation of dues deductions until the end of the dues period on August 31 of each year is a binding condition for automatic payroll authorization. Revocation of membership shall be made in writing to the Association on the form available from the Association between the beginning of the school year and September 20, and shall become effective at that time. The Association shall promptly submit notice of each revocation to the District payroll office.

The amount would be the same for each of the 12 months. Once the annual deduction amount has been selected, the amount cannot be changed or discontinued until the following January.

Automatic Payroll Deduction. 19.1.1 In coordination with SLOCSMA, the County agrees to automatic payroll deduction of SLOCSMA dues and additionally agrees to automatic deduction of SLOCSMA premiums which are not duplicative of or competitive with the County insurance plans for which the members of said unit are eligible. 19.1.2 Association shall indemnify and save harmless the County of San Xxxx Obispo, its officers, agents, and employees from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, or liability arising out of this article.
Automatic Payroll Deduction. 1. The Board agrees to deduct from the salaries of its employees: dues for the Association, the Morris County Education Association, the New Jersey Education Association, and the National Education Association, or any one or combination of such associations as said employees voluntarily and individually authorize the Board to deduct. Each employee may choose one of the following options for the payment of salary under the following conditions: the employee’s decision to enter plans (b)or (c)must be made prior to September 1st and will continue for the duration of the current year. Continuation in the plan will be automatic from year to year unless the employee requests termination in writing:
(a) Salary is divided into twenty (20) equal installments payable on the 15th and on the last day of the month.
(b) Any employee may choose to have his/her salary divided into twenty four (24) equal installments. From September through June, the payments will be as outlined in paragraph (a) above. The Board will mail semi-monthly payments in July and August on the 15th and on the last day of the month.
(c) A designated percent of the gross monthly earnings will be forwarded by the Board to a financial institution. The employee will designate this percent prior to September 1st of each school year. All other arrangements with the bank must be made with the employee. If an employee involved in this plan requests termination of the deduction during the school year, he or she may not re-enter the plan until the following September.
(d) Upon the request of the employee, the employee’s net monthly earnings will be forwarded by the Board to his/her choice of bank and/or credit union.

An employee may cancel their payroll deduction of dues and fees by written notice to the Union and to the District, with the District stopping deductions following written confirmation from the Union that 2022-2024 Collective Bargaining Agreement between Seattle Public Schools and Seattle/King County Building and Construction Trades Counsel the employee dues/fees authorization has been terminated in compliance with the terms of the written authorization executed by the employee. The District will make every effort to end the automatic dues deduction effective on the first pay period but no later than the second pay period after receipt of the written cancellation notice.
