Psychiatrists. Consultant psychiatrists shall be paid an additional 15% on the base salary prescribed as applicable. By agreement with the hospital or health service concerned, consultant psychiatrists may also be provided with up to one and a half days paid time or three sessions per week for agreed special research interests. The research shall reflect priority areas relevant to the hospital / health service or State.
Psychiatrists. (a) The psychiatrists allowance of 15% of base salary prescribed under the industrial agreement replaced by this industrial agreement shall be struck as a fixed rate, as at the date of commencement, and shall be continue to be paid at that rate until 30 September 2008.
(b) A consultant psychiatrists who was, immediately prior to the commencement of this Agreement, provided with up to one and a half days paid time or three sessions per week for agreed special research interests, shall continue on those arrangements for the term of their current contract of employment.
Psychiatrists. 1. The County will endeavor to utilize psychiatrists who are employed by the County and represented by PDOCC, to provide at least sixty percent (60%) of the psychiatric service hours provided annually to the County.
2. Beginning February 1, 2015, and each February 1 thereafter, the Health Services Department will provide an alphabetical list of all psychiatrists, both employed and contracted, working for the Department during the prior calendar year with the total number of psychiatric service hours provided by each psychiatrist listed. If the total number of psychiatric service hours provided by contracted psychiatrists during the prior the calendar year exceeds forty percent (40%) of the total psychiatric service hours provided by all psychiatrists, then the Health Services Department will pay to PDOCC the amount of PDOCC dues for each full-time equivalent (F.T.
Psychiatrists. 1:25 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays and one on duty or on-call during all other hours;
Psychiatrists. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Agreement to the contrary, policies and practices relating to wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment of Psychiatrists which are mutually agreed to in writing by the Employer and the Union shall be incorporated herein by reference; except that the duration of such mutual agreement shall be in accordance with Article 53, Duration, contained herein.
Psychiatrists. Full-time, permanent, Mental Health Psychiatrists may be allowed up to ten (10) days or eighty (80) hours per year for preapproved continuing education purposes. Upon management approval, Mental Health Psychiatrists may use CME time for verifiable activities related to maintenance of certification. Continuing Education provided by County departments shall not count towards these ten (10) days or eighty (80) hours per years. Up to ten (10) days or eighty (80) hour may be home study. Part-time, Mental Health Psychiatrists on permanent status working at least 16 hours per week may be allowed up to five (5) days or 40 (forty) hours per calendar year for pre- approved continuing education purposes. Continuing Education provided by County departments shall not count toward these five (5) days of forty (40) hours per calendar year. Travel is included as part for continuing education allowable and shall be deducted from the ten (10) days or eighty (80) hours per year for full time permanent employees; or five
Psychiatrists. A. SAN Psychiatrists shall be available for four (4) eight (8) hour (or longer) shifts per month. In the following situation the requirement for doing 4 shifts per month will be waived: The SAN psychiatrist does a total of 2 shifts, if each shift is either a weekend, AHS holiday or night shift.
B. Mandatory shifts are waived each month when volunteers have taken all available shifts.
C. Unfilled shifts shall be filled by the least senior SAN on a rotating basis utilizing inverse seniority. No SAN psychiatrist will be required to do more shifts than as outlined above in section/paragraph A.
D. SAN employees may request inactive/unavailable status subject to a sixty (60) day advance notice, except in emergency situations. Such leave is subject to a thirty (30) day per year limit.
E. AHS shall actively recruit SAN Psychiatrists, and will include all relevant information, including salaries. Advertising information shall be shared with UAPD on a quarterly basis and, if requested, AHS shall meet with the Union six (6) months after ratification of the MOU for the purpose of discussion and assessment of the effectiveness of the measures taken to fill the PES night shift.
F. This section shall not waive any rights under SECTION 8, LEAVES OF ABSENCE.
Psychiatrists. Vacation: Psychiatrists and any Physician in the P2 or P3 salary table may be given up to four (4) weeks vacation upon employment. At the end of one year of service, they will begin to accrue four weeks annual vacation until they reach nine (9) years service in accordance with Article 10
Psychiatrists. Review and confirm information on Medical History Questionnaire; review assessment information and diagnosis; make note of all diagnostic changes in progress notes. Advise consumer of medication side effects and contraindications. Consult with Remote site staff and HUB site staff in order to provide continuity of care and professionalism. Provide prescriptions for psychotropic medications as needed. Provide psychiatric services via teleconferencing modality. Follow Medication Monitoring Plan per Kings View policy.
Psychiatrists. The parties agree that Psychiatrists shall be eligible, on an annual basis, for paid education leave for Continuing Medical Education (CME) training in an amount not to exceed forty hours and will be eligible for up to $1,000.00 for CME related reimbursable expenses. Only the CME training time and/or the applicable, related travel that is completed during regular scheduled working hours, (typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:0 p.m.) will be eligible. (Note: Weekend CME activity including travel will not be considered work time and will not count towards compensatory time off or overtime.) Application for CME training, including home study courses, etc., shall be made to, and is subject to advance approval by, the Medical Director and verification of the completed CME hours will be required. All CME related reimbursements must adhere to the standards provided in the County Travel Policy. Requests to use paid education leave time must be made on approved department forms. When paid education leave time is coded on a timecard the employee will attach documentation showing proof of attendance. Documentation must include an agenda from the class attended or description of the class attended AND one of the following: a copy of the completion certificate a receipt from the class attended a receipt from a home study course that includes the number of hours completed
