Reassign Time. Unless mutually agreed upon by the Chancellor and the President of the Faculty Association, no recipient of Reassign Time shall abandon any part of Instructional Faculty, Counseling Faculty, and Library Faculty or Special Assignments Faculty duties after the start of a semester in order to utilize Reassign Time for negotiations.
Reassign Time. The Faculty Association will receive two (2.0) FTEF (Full-time Equivalent Faculty) Reassign Time per Academic Year [sixty Calculated A Hours (60 CAHs)] funded by the District. The Faculty Association may carryover up to two (2.0) FTEF (Full-time Equivalent Faculty) from one (1) Academic Year to the next. The Faculty Association may purchase from the District [at the average level of Part-time Faculty hourly pay] up to four (4) additional Full-time Equivalent Faculty (FTEF) and/or one hundred and twenty (120) Calculated A Hours (CAHs) of Reassign Time for Faculty Association work per Academic Year. The Faculty Association may utilize no more than six [(6.0) FTEF (180 CAHs)] in any one (1) Academic Year. This represents the total Reassign Time, including Faculty Association business and/or negotiations, for the Faculty Association provided by and/or purchased from the District. The Faculty Association shall designate, at its sole discretion, who shall receive Reassign Time. The reassigned unit member shall be paid his/her full salary and benefits while on Faculty Association Reassign Time. The fifty percent (50%) overload limit in Article 10D.11 applies. The Faculty Association shall notify, in writing, the Chancellor, appropriate College President and the Vice Chancellor of Human Resources at least thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the semester of the unit member(s) being granted Faculty Association Reassign Time as provided for herein.

Reassign Time. Within 30 days after the start of the assignment, faculty with reassigned time under Article 17.100 shall receive a written statement regarding the assigned duties, the percentage of reassigned time, and the starting and ending date.
Reassign Time. 2 Each school year the District and the Association shall agree to a release time schedule for Association 3 leadership. The Association president shall designate Association members to these positions. It is the 4 responsibility of SCFA to provide the District with a list of those faculty members receiving reassigned 5 time or compensation prior to the end of the academic year for the next academic year.
Reassign Time. Historically the reassigned time was 10% for each co-facilitator and an additional stipend equivalent to an additional 10%. For the past 1 year the stipend was eliminated, but 10% reassigned time was maintained. Starting Fall 2023 through Spring 2025, each Co-Facilitator will receive 10% reassigned time each semester and a stipend equivalent to 10% resulting in payment for 27 hours at the instructional rate, contingent on funding. Work conducted during the summer may consist of • occasional planning meetings • significant work towards duties and deliverables Occasional planning meetings may be held at a time conducive to the faculty member without additional compensation. However, prior to engaging in work towards duties and deliverables, a separate MOU and stipend shall be developed to outline expected deliverables and hours required to achieve those goals, to be paid on an hourly bias in accordance with the YFA contract.
Reassign Time. Each Co-Facilitator will receive 10% reassigned time each semester, and an additional *10% stipend for the duration of their two-year term. • Funding for the additional stipend is contingent on available funding. *A 10% stipend results in payment for 27 hours at the instructional rate. Funding set to expire June 30, 2022.
