Release of Student Information. The Employee shall not reveal information about students whether concerning their academic progress, their personal life or other personal information without the expressed consent of the student except in the normal provision of grades or references within St. Xxxxxx University or unless the safety of an individual is in question. Employees who reveal such information without the expressed consent of the student may be subject to disciplinary action as outlined in Article 10.
Release of Student Information. Upon request by Edmonds, the District will provide directory information relating to its students, to the extent permitted under District policy and state and federal law. Student information and databases will not be utilized by the Officer or by Edmonds for the enforcement of immigration laws or to obtain family data for the purposes of immigration enforcement.
Release of Student Information. The Xxxxxxx Amendment Regulations of 1980, called the Privacy Rights of Parents and Students, formerly known as the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), 34 Code of Federal Regulations Part 99, permits school officials under certain conditions to disclose certain directory information about enrolled students. School officials have the right to release directory information unless the parent or eligible student informs the principal that any or all of the information designated below should not be released without prior consent. Ocean Springs High School, however, has determined that student directory information will only be issued to universities, colleges, and branches of the United States military. • the student's name, address, telephone listing, and date and place of birth; • parent or lawful custodian's name, address, and telephone listing; • major field of study and grade level classification, (Example: "high school student," or "10th grade," or "senior;") • student's participation in officially recognized activities or sports (Example: "soccer team," or "Beta Club;") • weight and height of members of athletic teams; • dates of attendance, dates of enrollment, withdrawal, re-entry; • diplomas, certificates, awards and honors received; • most recent previous educational agency or institution attended by the student (Example: "transferred from Houston, Texas, high school")
Release of Student Information. The release of student records is governed by FERPA. School officials may access and disclose student records only as authorized by XXXXX.
Release of Student Information. College will not provide TP with protected student information, such as grades, unless student has a MCC Consent to Release Student Information form on file at the College.
Release of Student Information. East Central College accords its students all the rights regarding the use and release of student information under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. As allow by FERPA and its regulations, information contained in a student’s education record remains confidential between the student and ECC and will not be released to third parties without the written consent of the student. Students shall provide written consent before ECC will honor requests of the BAC and/or JATC to send academic, educational, and/or financial information pertaining to their enrollment in the AAS-Skilled Trades program. A record of consent shall be maintained by ECC.
Release of Student Information. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act has been in effect since June 17, 1976. Under the provision of this law, the parents or guardians of a student may request to review the students’ records. An appointment will be made with a school official to allow the parent or guardian to review the records and to ask any questions. The same right is available to students who are 18 years of age or older. To release student records to persons, agencies, or institutions other than an educational institution, it is necessary for parents or guardians of the student, or the student if at least 18 or older, to sign a release form giving consent for us to do so. We will forward educational records. Personally identifiable information, which includes information such as (a) the name of a student, the student’s parents, or other family members; (b) the address of the student; (c) a student social security number; (d) a list of personal characteristics which would make the individual’s identity easily traceable will not be released without written consent of the student’s parents or guardians or the student if he/she is at least 18 years of age. The exception to this would be in the event such information is required to comply with a judicial order or lawfully issued subpoena or to comply with local, state, or federal laws, regulations, and/or standards. Transcripts will be sent to other agencies or institutions upon written request of the parent or guardian and with written request of the student if he/she is at least 18 years of age without charge for the service. Transcripts for personal use may be obtained from the office with proper compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Release of Student Information to Military Recruiters - The district is required by federal law to comply with a request by a military recruiter for students’ names, addresses, and telephone listings, unless parents have advised the district not to release their child’s information without prior written consent. Any questions pertaining to this section should be directed to the principal.
Release of Student Information. A. Release of student information is controlled by the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), 20 U.S.C. § 1232g, 34 C.F.R. § 99, et seq., the Virginia Code and Virginia Administrative Code, and by School Board Policy and Regulations, all as amended from time to time.
B. Student names, addresses and telephone numbers, and parent and/or guardian names, addresses and telephone numbers (collectively, "Directory Information") shall be released to the Department for official law enforcement use in criminal cases.
C. The availability of Directory Information for vital law enforcement use in criminal cases eliminates a potential barrier to the investigative capacities of the Department while at the same time being mindful of the privacy of students.
D. Other information about students, including educational records protected from disclosure under FERPA, may be released (I) to law enforcement officials, without the parents' or legal guardian's permission or consent pursuant to a valid subpoena or search warrant and/or in connection with an articulable emergency, if the knowledge of such information is significant and necessary to protect the health and safety of a student or other persons, and (2) to SROs pursuant to their duties hereunder. No further disclosure of such information shall be made either by law enforcement officials or by SROs, except as authorized by law.
E. When information regarding a minor is to be released to the Department's law enforcement officials pursuant to a subpoena or search warrant, CPS shall attempt to notify the parent or legal guardian prior to such release unless CPS is notified by the Department that such release would endanger one or more persons or compromise an ongoing investigation or criminal prosecution. CPS will make a similar attempt to notify a student if over age 1 8, subject to the same limitation.
Release of Student Information. Upon request by CITY Police Department, NKSD will provide directory information relating to its students, which is allowable under NKSD policy and State and Federal law and in accordance with “Attachment A”.
Release of Student Information. 21. The release of student education records is governed by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). "School officials" may access and disclose education records only as authorized by XXXXX. SROs
a. For purposes of access to student records, the SROs are considered "school officials" and may be provided student information as needed to carry out their duties related to the school environment. On a routine basis, the SRO's access to student records shall be limited to a system-wide TPSD look-up of directory information (defined on the TPSD notice attached hereto), that will include information on all students in the school system who have not opted-out of the disclosure of directory information.
b. Relative to students attending the school at which the SRO works, the SRO may access additional items of information, such as class schedule, that an SRO may need to perform his/her duties, but which are not designated as directory information. The SROs may have access to other student records only when needed to carry out his/her duties in the school environment and only as approved by the school principal.
