REPORTING TIME PAY. (A) After a Welder Helper has been hired and ordered to report for work at the regular starting time, and no work is provided for him on the day that he has so reported, he shall receive Waiting Time pay in accordance with Article XIII(A) (a lump sum payment equivalent to three
REPORTING TIME PAY. If an employee reports for work on any work day and is not put to work on that day, he shall be paid two (2) hours pay for reporting to work unless he has been previously notified not to report to work. In order to be paid the reporting pay, the employee must report to work at the starting time of the shift and be available for work and remain on the jobsite up to two (2) hours, unless released by the Employer. Employees who commence work shall be guaranteed two (2) hours pay and after the second hour shall be paid for actual time worked. An employee being paid under these circumstances may be required by the Employer to remain on the job for the length of the time for which he is paid. It shall be the responsibility of the employee to furnish to the Employer the telephone number at which the employee may be called regarding reporting to work.
REPORTING TIME PAY. When an employee reports to work for their scheduled shift and is thereafter notified that the Employer is unable to provide work for that day, the employee shall be paid for four hours or one-half (1/2) of the scheduled shift, whichever is greater.
REPORTING TIME PAY. (A) Any employee, after being hired and ordered to report for work at the regular time and no work is provided for them on the day that they have so reported, shall receive the equivalent of two (2) hours at the prevailing wage rate; this provided that they were not notified by the Employer before leaving their place of residence not to report. If employees are scheduled to report for work and report for work and are directed by the Contractor to remain on the job site until it is determined if the work will begin, they shall be paid for the time waited on the job site ready to begin work.
(B) The employee shall furnish the Employer with current telephone number or other contact at the start of each job, and notify the Employer of any subsequent change or changes in such contact during the course of the job.
(C) If employees commence work they shall receive two (2) hours’ pay or two (2) hours’ work. If employees commence work and work beyond two (2) hours, they shall receive four (4) hours’ pay or four (4) hours worked. On emergency maintenance work, employees shall be paid for actual hours worked, except, in no case shall they be paid for less than two (2) hours.
REPORTING TIME PAY. All employees shall receive show-up time in the amount of two (2) hours, if not put to work, except in case of inclement or machinery breakdown. Employees shall be required to remain on the job to qualify for the two (2) hours’ pay and shall also be paid for all time that they are requested, by the contractor, to remain on the job.
REPORTING TIME PAY. Bus Operators booked on runs scheduled out of the garage shall be required to report for duty at the garage ten (10) minutes before the scheduled leaving time. Such time is to be known as “Reporting Time” and is to be paid for at the regular rates in addition to platform time.
REPORTING TIME PAY. Employees who are sent home for lack of work after reporting in accordance with their regular schedule or in accordance with instructions from their supervision will receive not less than the equivalent of four (4) hours pay at their straight-time rates.
REPORTING TIME PAY. SECTION 1. After a person has been first hired and ordered to report to work at the regular starting time and no work is provided for him on the day that he is so ordered to report, he shall receive reporting time pay equivalent to two (2) hours at the regular straight-time hourly rate. If the person has been working regularly, and the Employer has failed to notify him/her not to report for work before leaving his/her residence, he/she shall be entitled to one (1) hour reporting time pay as provided herein. The employee must remain at the job site and available for work unless told by the Employer that he may leave.
SECTION 2. Employees shall furnish their Employer with current telephone or other contact information at the start of each job, and advise the Employer of any subsequent change or changes in such contact information during the coverage of the job.
SECTION 3. Any employee who reports for work, and for whom work is provided, regardless of the time he works, shall receive the equivalent of not less than four (4) hours pay at the regular straight-time hourly rate provided he is available for work throughout such period.
SECTION 4. Any employee who reports for work and who works for more than four (4) hours in any one day shall receive the equivalent of not less than eight (8) hours pay at the regular straight-time hourly rate provided that he is available for work until the end of that regular work day.
SECTION 5. It is expressly provided, however, that if the employee leaves the job site without permission of the Employer, or when a person refuses to work or continue to work, or when work stoppages brought about by a third party or parties prevent or make ill-advised, in the opinion of the Employer, the performance or continuance of work,
SECTION 6. Where notification of the men is required under this Agreement to the effect that work shall not be performed on a particular day, notification of such fact to the xxxxxxx shall be sufficient notification to the men, provided the xxxxxxx is permitted enough time during working hours to notify the men.
REPORTING TIME PAY. (a) An employee reporting for work on call of the Employer shall receive two (2) hours pay at his straight time rate unless he is notified at least one and one-half (1½) hours prior to his regular starting time not to report.
(b) Four (4) hours pay at the applicable rate for that day to any employee who reports for work and performs work of not more than four (4) hours duration.
(c) An employee who performs work of over four (4) hours duration shall receive pay for time worked.
(d) Notwithstanding the provisions of (a), (b), and (c) above, when an employee refuses to work or to continue to work, or there is a third party labour work stoppage, no pay for hours not worked shall be required.
REPORTING TIME PAY. On each workday when an employee is required to report to work and does report, but is not put to work or is furnished less than half said employee's usual or scheduled day's work, the employee shall be paid for half the usual or scheduled day's work, but in no event for less than two (2) hours no more than four (4) hours, at the employee's regular rate of pay, which shall not be less than the Minimum Wage. If an employee is required to report to work a second time in any one workday and is furnished less than two (2) hours of work on the second reporting, said employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's regular rate of pay, which shall not be less than the Minimum Wage. The foregoing reporting time pay provisions are not applicable when:
1. Operations cannot commence or continue due to threats to employees or property, or when recommended by civil authorities; or
2. Public utilities fail to supply electricity, water, or gas, or there is a failure in the public utilities, or sewer system; or
3. The interruption of work is caused by an Act of God or other cause not within the Employer's control.
