Responsibilities of the School District. 1. To provide the resources necessary for carrying out this process, including, but not limited to, the following: a. Time for supervisors/evaluators and staff members to confer in order to develop the professional development plan; b. Training on the process of developing professional development plans and assessing staff member performance; and c. A list of immediate supervisors/evaluators for each member of the bargaining unit, to be provided to the Association no later than September 30. The District shall notify the Association of any changes in the September 30 list. 2. To identify priorities for supervisors/evaluators in such a way that they have time to provide needed support for staff members. 3. To establish goals for the District and to review progress toward the accomplishment of those goals. 4. To specify the District goals and any specific objectives of a management team member or of any other supervisor if those objectives affect the staff member(s). 5. To provide resources determined by the District to assist staff members in pursuing their professional development plans. 6. To defend and indemnify, to the extent required by law, staff in the performance of their duties as an agent of the administration in the evaluation of a unit member.

The District shall record dual credit coursework on the student’s transcript, as recommended from the State, and will be used to calculate academic standing. This includes all grades that are printed on the post-secondary transcript. For example: if a student receives a W (Withdrawal) on their post-secondary transcript, the W must be transcripted on their high school transcript. A student may not opt out of the secondary credit through this program. (SDCL 13-28-37) 2. In accordance with SDCL 13-28-37.1, the District understands that receiving a W or F will result in no longer being able to participate in the program, unless the Institutions determine the result was because of good cause, or the student retakes the course at their own expense without the tuition reduction. 3. Except as provided in this Agreement, the District’s local dual credit enrollment policies and the policies of the Institutions shall apply to student enrollments in this Program. The District and the Institutions each retain the right to deny enrollment in dual credit courses offered through this Program. 4. The District will limit participation in the Program to students in grades 11 and 12. 5. The District shall register students under this Program through the identified single point of contact at each Institution. 6. The District shall monitor student progress in the dual credit courses under this Program. The District shall strive to provide support to students through the use of a local district mentor for the Program.

Responsibilities of the School District. 4.1 The school district shall submit a monthly invoice to the Department outlining actual costs incurred by the district to provide transportation of xxxxxx children located outside the boundary lines of the school district. 4.2 The monthly invoices shall be submitted in a manner approved by the Department. 4.3 The school district shall not invoice the Department for transporting xxxxxx children with an active IEP which includes provisions for specialized transportation as transportation, in this case, must be provided by the school district responsible for the student’s Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). 4.4 The school district shall submit monthly invoices to the Department on school or district letterhead and include the following information: a. Child’s name b. Month of service c. Unique invoice number for each invoice submitted d. Total transportation cost incurred, itemized with the following information: 1) Mode(s) of transportation used (bus or contracted transport) and by date, if applicable 2) Cost per mile 3) Any other additional transportation costs incurred e. Share of total cost of child’s transportation incurred during the invoiced month to be reimbursed by Children’s Division, as negotiated in accordance to the Individual Student Transportation Plan form (Attachment A). f. Signature of authorized designee of the school district. 4.5 The school district shall submit a separate invoice for each child served through this agreement.

During the design phase of the Bowl Renovation, the School District shall provide ongoing input with respect to relative feasibility of construction methods, availability of materials and labor, time requirements for procurement, installation and construction, and factors related to construction costs including, but not limited to, costs of alternative designs or materials. b. Develop master schedules and construction schedules for the Bowl Renovation. Conduct pre-bid conferences. Schedule and conduct preconstruction meetings. Assist with prequalification and evaluating bid responses. Assist and advise regarding bid protests. Assist in contracting with winning bidder(s), including evaluating bonds and insurance. c. Review all contractor submittals for accuracy and compliance with submittals of design professionals and assist in assuring compliance therewith by the contractor(s). d. Administer all construction, including inspection of the work. Coordinate the work being performed. Enforce performance and scheduling requirements. Work cooperatively with the Bowl Authority, design professionals, and contractors to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget. Hold weekly job site meetings and prepare and circulate minutes. Evaluate and verify progress. Evaluate and process change order requests and pay requests. e. The School District shall promptly recommend to the Bowl Authority or its designees rejection of work that does not conform to any of the following: the construction documents; the School District’s directives; applicable code requirements; approved Shop Drawings, Product Data, and Samples; clarification drawings; or defective work. f. Review all applications for payment submitted by the contractor(s). Within 5 days after receipt of each application for payment, either indicate in writing a recommendation for payment and present the application to the Bowl Authority representative(s) or return the application to the contractor for correction and resubmission. g. Work with the design professionals to develop lists of incomplete or unsatisfactory work.
