Safety and Risk Management a. Pool Safety Standards. Both parties agree that the safety and risk management guidelines set forth in Exhibit C, attached to this Agreement and incorporated herein, shall be followed at all times.
b. In the event of a health and/or safety issue that threatens the health and/or safety of a pool user, a Shark employee or volunteer, the Sharks reserve the right to immediately close the pool. The Sharks agree to immediately notify the City Manager and to explain the reason for the pool closure if the Sharks close the pool.

Safety and Risk Management. 25.1 The Hirer must abide by all requests made by the YMCA staff in the interests of health and safety, and the enjoyment of other users of the facility.
25.2 The YMCA will ensure that the facility and equipment provided to the Hirer are fit for purpose.
25.3 The Hirer must not bring or permit any flame, candle, explosive, fuel, pyrotechnic, flammable or hazardous substance or any dangerous weapon to be brought into or used on the Premises.
25.4 If the risk posed by the activity of Hirer is considered unacceptable by the YMCA in its absolute discretion, the booking will not be accepted.
Safety and Risk Management. Both Parties are aware of the physical risks involved with large‐scale testing and intend to support efforts to manage these risks. Both Parties acknowledge the importance of safety in the performance of this Agreement. Equipment Site agrees to have a formal safety plan specifically covering its facilities and activities therein. Equipment Site shall have a designated safety officer (the “Safety Officer”) who shall have overall responsibility for the safety of the Equipment Site and who shall have the authority to immediately stop activities at the Equipment Site for safety reasons, at his or her sole discretion. Equipment Site shall provide Participant with a copy of its safety plan and current contact information for its Safety Officer within 30 days from the date of this Agreement. Participant shall review and comply with the safety plan and all safety policies at Equipment Site to the satisfaction of the Safety Officer. Equipment Site reserves the right to “stop work” immediately and submit a petition for action to Purdue for any Project activity that is deemed unsafe by its technical staff or management personnel. Project activities related to the nature of the petition shall be halted during this review period without penalty to Equipment Site if the petition is determined to be unsound. Participant may also submit a petition for action to Equipment Site for any Project activity that is deemed unsafe by its technical staff or management personnel. Ensure that the Eye and Ear Quality Clinical Governance Framework (Link) is in place with systems to ensure that the patient/consumer has a safe, high-quality, person-centred experience/care. This involves: - Focusing on the provision of safe, person-centred care that minimises harm in partnership with patients, carers and their families (consumers). - Ensuring mechanisms are in place to monitor that the clinical workforce is working within their agreed scope of practice and with full current registration. - Developing and maintaining your skills and competencies relevant to your clinical scope of practice. - Ongoing measurement of safety, risk management and quality performance, taking action in response to identified issues and establishing a culture of improvement. - Facilitating consumer participation in safety and quality activities. - Leading and / or contribute to gathering required evidence and participation in other activities required for accreditation reviews. - Facilitation of the annual performance development cycle for all employees’ staff within area of responsibility. - Actively participating in an annual individual performance development plan that determines and evaluates key responsibilities, strategies and performance indicators in line with the Eye and Ear’s Strategic Plan. - Managing rosters and leave in an equitable way that promotes staff to take leave and manage accruals in line with the organisations’ standards. - Facilitate relevant training to maintain an effective workforce. - Ensuring that there is financial responsibility and accountability, including appropriate use of hospital resources across the functions under the positions control. - Developing and monitoring financial strategies that will ensure budgetary targets and key performance indicators are met. - Working within and ensuring staff are compliant with the Eye and Ear Data Accountability Framework (link).
