Safety and Quality. The Parties reaffirm their joint commitment to making safety and quality central to mental health and suicide prevention service delivery and will collaborate to establish and maintain nationally consistent standards for mental health and suicide prevention care, policy, planning and reporting. This includes the development of national standards and strategies in line with quality and safety standards.

Safety and Quality. ‌ The WA Health Safety and Quality (S&Q) Strategic and Operational Plans 2024-2025 describe a collaborative approach to the delivery of S&Q programs across WA Health entities to achieve safe, high performing and person-centred care. HSPs are required to ensure timely delivery of their commitments as outlined within the Operational Plans and as endorsed by HEC S&Q. To ensure delivery of the Strategic and Operational Plans occurs from an effective base, compliance with the suite of mandatory S&Q health policies outlined in the Clinical Governance S&Q Policy Framework is required.

For the duration of the Contract Period and in relation to the Services provided under this Contract, the Contractor must have and must maintain plans, manuals, systems and programs, including but not limited to: i. an Emergency Response Plan; and ii. Fatigue Management system or program; and iii. a Quality Management System (QMS) as specified in clause 4.5b; and iv. a Safety Management System (SMS) as specified in clause 1.1a; and
Safety and Quality. Successful completion of the Federal Bank Examiners’ audit with ratings both for C.A.M.E.L.S. and Compliance at either a 1 or 2 rating for each section will be rewarded with $10,000 each year. If the Examiners skip a year, the prior year ratings will apply. If the Examiners change their rating system, the Board in its judgment shall approximate these awards.
