SAFETY CLAUSE. 21.01 The Employer shall notify Local Union 516 immediately upon becoming aware of an Employee becoming injured.
SAFETY CLAUSE. 21.01 All equipment, tools and materials must conform and be utilized in conformity with applicable provincial and/or federal regulations, acts and laws. Employer safety rules and regulations shall be complied with provided they are not inconsistent with the above-mentioned. It shall not be considered a violation of this Agreement should an Employee(s) refuse to work in conditions and/or use equipment that do not meet prescribed safety standards and/or regulations. Refusal of an Employee to abide by the WorkSafe BC. Regulations may be considered cause for dismissal.
SAFETY CLAUSE. 24.01 No operators will be required to operate equipment where safety equipment or required manufactured safety locks are defective.
SAFETY CLAUSE. It shall be a condition of this Agreement that all Employees and Contractors shall comply with the safety provisions set down by OSHA, the Construction Safety Act of 1969 and the Safety Codes of Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia, including revisions. It shall be a condition of employment that all Employees use and wear the safety equipment provided by the Contractor and practice the safety procedures specified by the Contractor and the State Safety Code and Federal Safety Laws. Refusal to comply will subject employees to immediate dismissal.
SAFETY CLAUSE. 14.1 - It shall be the duty of the Employer to insure compliance with safety requirements for employees covered under this contract.
SAFETY CLAUSE. The firm shall take all precautionary measures in order to ensure the protection of his own personnel moving about or working on the Railway and should confirm to the Rules and Regulations of the Railway. The following precautions are to be taken.
SAFETY CLAUSE. Preamble - Employers shall establish and maintain a health and safety program in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and the Workers Compensation Act.

The employer shall furnish and maintain in the best possible working condition, within the limits of its financial capability, the necessary tools, facilities, vehicles, supplies and equipment required for members to safely carry out their duties. Members are responsible for reporting unsafe conditions or practices, for avoiding negligence, and for properly using and caring for tools, facilities, vehicles, supplies and equipment provided by the employer.
SAFETY CLAUSE. 13.1 - It is the intent of the parties that no employee should be required to work under conditions which are unsafe and unhealthy beyond the normal hazards inherent in the operation.
