Safety Protocol. Safety clothing and devices currently provided by the City shall continue to be provided, as long as the need exists; the Association will encourage all employees in the Unit to utilize said safety clothing and devices to the fullest extent possible.

Safety Protocol. In order to ensure the safety of all staff, the Agency will keep staff informed of reasonably foreseeable safety risks. If an incident is reported which creates a reasonably foreseeable safety risk to employees, then they will be informed of the incident in a timely manner. The Agency agree to receive suggested Personal Development Training ideas from Bargaining Unit members. Such suggestions should be sent directly to the employee's supervisor/manager or designate via email and will be in the simple format laid out below. The Agency will review all requests for training and provide a response in writing to the Bargaining Unit member. All requests and responses under this ▇▇▇ will be provided in a timely manner, to enable reasonable consideration of the request and taking into account any deadlines and registration dates. Cost: Registration Deadline: Approved Denied The Employer agrees to contribute to the Union's Training and Education Fund the amount of $250.00 on June 1st of each year of the Collective Agreement. This requirement shall have no retroactive effect. The Employer shall reimburse the Union fifty (50%) percent of the cost of printing this Collective Agreement for the parties. Working offsite may be feasible for some staff members given the nature of their work. When a staff member identifies a need to work offsite, she will discuss it with her Supervisor/Manager or Designate. Permission to work offsite may be granted subject to the operational needs of the Agency and on such terms as the Supervisor/Manager or designate may specify. The Employer will not be unreasonable in the exercise of its judgment. A staff member will ensure that her whereabouts are properly noted in the Outlook Calendar.
