SALARY NOTES. Any employee in the class of Crossing Guard (Class Code 3180), who was employed by the All City Management Corporation on or before September 1, 1986, and whose employment has been continuous until reemployment by the City, shall receive $0.30 per hour above the hourly flat rate for the class.
SALARY NOTES. Effective the start of the first pay period following the effective date of this MOU, each salary bonus paid pursuant to this MOU and/or the LAAC shall be calculated on the base salary rate for the affected employee.
SALARY NOTES. 23.1.7.1 Any person, upon initial placement as an administrator in the District, will be placed on either the Certified Psychologist Administrator’s salary schedule or the Professional-Technical salary schedule at the salary specified on the position announcement, unless the A-1 determines another placement is appropriate.
23.1.7.2 In addition to the salary shown, the District contributes an additional amount as specified by law to the Public Employees Retirement Systems (PERS) for retirement benefits.
23.1.7.3 Employee authorized to advance to a higher salary column will be placed in the higher column at the lowest level which permits an actual increase of at least 4% in the daily rate, but not to exceed the maximum step of that column. To be eligible for more than the 4% increase in the daily rate for specialized positions, the employee and supervisor must use the advance step placement process. (Included in Appendix A)
23.1.7.4 The District will recognize up to four (4) additional years (beyond the five (5) year limit Per the Deloitte Pay Study) of experience for Employee’s who left, and then returned, to the District. This credit will be granted if the Employee’s additional four (4) years were in the District and his absence from the District or other public school employment did not exceed ten (10) years. This credit will place her/him on the maximum step given her/his placement and be retroactive only to the beginning of the contract year.

Note 1: Employees in the class of Principal Clerk, regardless of Departmental designation, who were receiving a bonus at the third premium level in accordance with Section 11, Note 5 of Ordinance No. 159777 shall receive, in lieu thereof, salary at the first premium level rate above the appropriate step rate of the salary range prescribed for the class. Note 2: Any person employed in an accounting or auditing class at the level of Principal Accountant or lower shall receive a biweekly bonus of $200, upon presenting his/her certificate of registration as a Certified Public Accountant with the California State Board of Accountancy or as a Certified Internal Auditor with the Institute of Internal Auditors to his/her appointing authority. This bonus shall commence at the beginning of the payroll period next succeeding the date the person presents said proof of registration. Persons receiving the bonus prior to January 1, 2007 based on a non-California certificate shall continue to receive the bonus. Note 3: In accordance with the settlement agreement reached between the City and the Los Angeles City Supervisors and Superintendents Association (LACSSA), relative to Arbitration No. 182 and Arbitration No. 188, certain employees of the Police Department, who occupied Principal Clerk Police II or Principal Clerk Police III positions, Code 1152-2, or Code 1152-3, on March 23, 1982, shall each receive a biweekly bonus of 2.75% of base salary.

Any person employed in the class of Safety Engineering Associate I/II, Code 1726-1/2, for which registration as a professional engineer with the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers is not required, shall, while so registered, receive salary at the second premium level rate above the appropriate step rate of the salary prescribed for the class at the beginning of the payroll period next succeeding the date the individual presents to the appointing authority a formal certificate, pocket identification card or other such document or communication evidencing registration as a professional engineer as is satisfactory to the appointing authority.
SALARY NOTES. In addition to the salaries provided for in the appendices herein, qualifying Unit members shall receive the following additional compensation Note 1 Airfield Hazard Incentive Whenever a Unit member employed as an Airport Police Officer is regularly assigned by the Department to uniformed duties, he/she shall receive an additional 2% cash equivalent of compensation above his/her corresponding step of the salary range. This airfield hazard incentive is an “Adds to Pay” bonus and is not pension based. Effective July 7, 2019, additional compensation shall be paid in the amount of 4% cash equivalent above a Unit member’s corresponding step of the salary range. Note 2 Motorcycle Pay Whenever an Airport Police Officer III is regularly assigned by the Department to ride a two-wheel motorcycle for law or code enforcement purposes, he/she shall receive additional compensation of 5.5% above his/her corresponding step rate. This motorcycle pay is a regularly assigned “Adds to Rate” bonus and is pension based. Whenever an Airport Police Officer II is regularly assigned by the Department to ride a two-wheel motorcycle for law or code enforcement purposes, he/she shall receive additional compensation of 11% above his/her corresponding step rate. SALARY NOTES. Note 1: Note 2: The following salary tables (Appendices A - F) are exclusive of the one time negotiated 2.75% salary adjustment which became effective January 1st of 2010. The incumbents who received the January 1,2010, salary adjustment who had been on the then top or 5th step of their salary range for a minimum of one year shall continue to receive said adjustment in addition to the salaries listed in the following salary range appendices during the period of this MOU as long as they remain active employees. If a qualifying employee leaves employment of a classification covered by this MOU, by transfer, promotion, or termination, the 2.75% additional compensation shall be lost and not restored under any circumstances. The January 1, 2010, special adjustments shall continue to be identified and added to the ranges specified in the following appendices for those employees that qualified for the special adjustment as of January 1,2010, through the term of this MOU so long as the employee remains without interruption in a classification covered by this MOU. SALARY NOTES. No employee employed by the Employer prior to the ratification of this collective agreement shall suffer a reduction in wages or other terms and conditions of employment as a result of the reorganization of Schedule “A” above.
